Freezes, crashes, doesn’t load all options and then you can’t finish uploading information. If I had not already paid for the workshop at the venue I’m going to I would never go to this venue due to being required to use this god awful app. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2023-09-16, version 7.0821.1* Use this only if you have no choice. Bad UI. Bad backend. Won't accept a complicated password. Yuck! ### 1/5 — Terrible compared to other parking apps *2023-05-01, version 7.0414.3* Usually a parking app is simple. Apple log in and you enter the code on the sign in front of the car. 10 seconds. This one makes you make a separate account, start time leave time, find the spot etc. Super convoluted. ### 1/5 — terrible in every way *2023-04-17* This app is designed so poorly it’s a wonder you can even use it at all. Oh wait. You can’t. I tried to set up an account and it kept telling me to verify my email. I checked my spelling to make sure it was the right account, then my junk folder, then waited two more hours to see if it went through and nothing. Fast forward a few days and now it says my account doesn’t even exist. I was going to delete the app but I decided to write a review first letting others know that it’s not worth it. They have recently updated the app as of last night and now the app won’t open and I can’t get to my car to get to work. I have had to get Ubers and be late to work. Please fix this bug. ### 1/5 — App Submits Incorrect Requests *2021-10-22* I attempted to book parking with a neighboring business that offers parking through this app. The request was only for 3hrs but both times I submitted it the request appeared to replace my hours of 2p-5pm into 12am-12am, making it long term parking instead of short term. Because of this my requests were denied even though the business has 8 spots currently open. Highly unreliable for parkers and missed income for the business. ### 1/5 — Only works if you have signal *2021-08-02, version 5.0613.1* I park in an underground garage (like many people in cities) and this app is completely useless. Has definitely come in handy here in Chicago! ### 1/5 — Awful Company Practices *2020-12-29, version 4.1219.1* My car was towed in the middle of a pandemic because my landlord company neglected to tell me that my buildings parking lot (with no gate, visible signage, etc.) is paid only and operated by ParqEx! Completely ridiculous. If you’re going to run a paid parking business, maybe put up a sign letting people know that you have to pay to park? What a crazy idea! ### 1/5 — App has Bugs, customer service is horrible *2020-05-26, version 4.0518.1* There are bugs in the app, when you try to leave the parking garage. Company will screw you over when you re use the app, saying you never checked out properly and recharge you again. Customer service is not helpful at all. ### 1/5 — Great Concept with Terrible Execution *2020-01-16* I am a monthly renter with ParqEx and within the last 7 days, all of the spots have been full 3 of the days. After working with customer service, they refunded me for one of the days and each time have said they are working on a solution, but even though their signs say towing is enforced, I have been forced to park elsewhere since unregistered cars are taking the spots and have never been towed or even ticketed. I understand that there are a lot of properties to maintain, but if you don’t have an enforceable working relationship with a building then you shouldn’t offer parking in the first place. Make this app better or start charging me less. Cause the quality to price ratio is extremely off. ### 1/5 — DATA BREACH *2024-09-08, version 9.0806.1* Someone hacked my account to reserve parking. ParqEx refunded the $10 and closed the case. Never was the fact that all my information was leaked including my name, credit card, car make and model, etc. When I emailed (no customer service on weekends) they had trouble finding my account and I had to send proof - text message and receipt. Enjoy the free parking on Diversey hacker. ParqEx could care less. ### 1/5 — Recent Update *2024-08-11, version 9.0806.1* There recently was an update and the app is now awful! Took me 30 mins to open the gate to where I live because the app wasn’t responding. I also tried to book a spot for a guest and the app doesn’t allow me to book a guest. ### 1/5 — TRY SPOT HERO INSTEAD *2024-04-19, version 9.0412.2* Terrible app with extremely poor UI. Crashes whenever I try and add an image of my car. Unable to save the vehicle. Extremely frustrating. Swapped to spot hero and found instant success. Feels like it was made by someone who doesn’t have thumbs or drive. ### 1/5 — Still no better *2024-03-20* I had hopes for this. But this app is still one of the worst I’ve ever used. There are actual grammatical errors in the copy and at my garage you’re supposed to be able to open and close the gate, with 24/7 access, and it doesn’t work. So what happens when you get locked out (or in!) because customer service is not 24/7. This just happened to me the other day and cause a line of cars to pile up because we couldn’t exit. The rep on the phone had no idea what to tell us to do. I will just continue to complain to the building to find another parking service. ### 1/5 — Terrible! *2023-12-16* This app doesn’t even function. We were forced to sign up and use the app to pay for parking in our building, the same parking people have been using for years. Now having to go through the new payment system through the app, it doesn’t even show that we paid. The app continues to say they have no record of me in the system. Luckily, we don’t have to use the app to open the gate. Otherwise we would be locked out. So since we are compelled to use the app for parking payments, I have to screenshot every so often to make sure I have a record of my payments in the system. I’ve repeatedly submitted for email receipts, but they are never sent. so anyone using this system, make sure to screenshot any records you might see in the app for your own records and verification. And keep any and all emails. ### 1/5 — Horrific UX *2023-10-20* This app is truly awful. The verification took five times to be successful when I created an account, the drop downs to select a date and time don’t always function, and you can’t extend your time! This is basic functionality! It’s unacceptable and the worst part is, I have to use it because this is a lot that I frequent. Something has to change. And also, why do you ask for auto insurance I formation in the profile?
