### 2/5 — App crashes

*2018-09-22, version 4.4.4*

The app won’t open- you click the app and it just crashes. Sometimes it doesn’t connected to the pot.

### 2/5 — Keeps losing connection

*2017-07-01, version 4.4.4*

I've had the flower power for 3 months, and it has lost it's connection numerous times, leaving big blank areas, not recording data. Tech support doesn't seem to know why. So because it's under warranty, they offered to send a replacement only after I mailed mine back. Let's see, I would have to repot my plant in a temporary pot, then repot it when I got the replacement . At that point my nice looking peace plant would have been repotted 3 times, and probably wouldn't survive. They wouldn't even entertain the idea of charging me for a new one, then giving me credit when I returned the faulty one, thus eliminating numerous repotting. Not a great company for such a pricey vase.

### 1/5 — Not an iPad app.

*2016-09-02, version 4.0.1*

Forced portrait orientation is a real nightmare on a tablet. "Parrot Flower Power for iPad" seems to be a straight up unaltered duplicate listing of the "Parrot Flower Power" app.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2016-07-24, version 2.3*

Returning this product today. App is full of bugs- will not display history if you select your plant from the (useless and incomplete) database. Same problems on iPad and iPhone. Embarrassingly useless.

### 2/5 — Frustrating device

*2016-06-18, version 2.3*

I am sorry I wasted my money on this. More often than not, it comes up with an error message and tells me to try later.

### 2/5 — Update the plant databases!!

*2016-05-20, version 2.3*

Please update the plant database to increase the coverage of different flora along with the improvements of its accuracy. A lot of regular plants are not included, e.g. Orchid Cymbidum goeringii. And the plant needs should be more accurate to include half star into the descriptions. It sounds not right to say rose has the same needs regards watering as camellia.

### 3/5 — So disappointed

*2014-11-12, version 1.6.5*

I can't believe parrot has done such a horrible job with this

### 1/5 — I really wanted to like this product

*2014-10-06, version 1.6.5*

I started with one then added another. When they are able to connect, which is usually a multi try task all seems fine. Very useful information. But connecting is an ongoing problem. I purchased a third sensor which is detected by the app. But when I try setting it up, once I put in plant data the app crashes. I tried to get help from Parrot support but instead of giving me answers, sent me how to un pare one.
I now have a iPhone 6 but had the same problem with my 5S.

### 1/5 — Great idea, but fails to connect too often

*2014-07-07, version 1.6.4*

My flower parrot is 5 feet away and Bluetooth can't connect. It says that i should water while Ig is raining. A great idea but a bad implementation

### 1/5 — Really liked the product but...

*2019-11-13, version 4.4.4*

I actually really liked this product! I still currently have 4 Parrot Flower Power devices that still have power, but the app apparently has no support anymore, so my connected plants are languishing in a constant state of ??? So, thanks for nothing, as this was an expensive product that is now rendered useless! I hope someone else picks this up as a new opportunity to gain new clients and takes this product and technology to the next level...

### 1/5 — App keeps crashing

*2019-05-19, version 4.4.4*

App won’t open and keeps crashing!

### 1/5 — Does not work with ios12

*2019-05-05, version 4.4.4*

They need to update. It’s a shame I cannot use the flower power unit I bought from them....

### 1/5 — App will not open on my IPhone 8

*2019-02-15, version 4.4.4*

The app will not open on my IPhone 8 which has the latest version of IOS. I tried deleting the app and reloading it.
Useless!

### 1/5 — Product discontinued

*2018-09-28, version 4.4.4*

Parrot has discontinued support for the product and the app crashes on launch under iOS 12.

### 1/5 — Update

*2018-09-20, version 4.4.4*

Need update!!!

### 1/5 — Fail to open with iOS 12

*2018-09-20, version 4.4.4*

The Flower Power application does not open after iOS upgrade to version 12.

We have 5 Flower Power unit ....can’t use them anymore.

Shame to Perrot :-(

### 1/5 — Flower Power

*2017-01-30, version 4.4.4*

I have these products for more than a year. It was working fine when I was first bough it until the software update that all 4 sensors showing no soil detected.

### 1/5 — Rubbish

*2016-12-09, version 4.4.4*

The light meter can't read LED lighting and also can only give ambient light readings as they can easily be shielded by foliage.

The fertiliser meters (I have two parrots) give zero reading; despite a 2.4 EC reading using another sensor. It's totally useless.

The soil temperature reading is accurate but a simple thermometer can do the job.

The water level reading is ok but dipping a dry finger in the soil will do.

I contacted Parrot Customer Services and Support, who after reading the logs I sent them, announced that 'both' my units are faulty and that I should get in touch with my supplier for replacement or reimbursement!

It brings into mind what quality control they have and do they apply the same questionable standards to their drone manufacture.

Out of pocket mug.

### 1/5 — Upgrade, downgrade

*2016-12-06, version 4.2.4*

Last "improvements"are starting to become as big a fail as the units they sell.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Plant Monitors!

*2017-07-06, version 4.4.4*

I have 3 sensors and have had them for over 2 years. They are brilliant at monitoring all aspects of care for my plants. They take away all of the worry on over/under watering, fertilising etc. Because of these little sticks I have wonderfully healthy plants.
I also like the app. It's clear and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Mr

*2016-12-21, version 4.4.4*

Grat app and device. Managed to revive a fern and keep it alive in less than ideal conditions.

### 5/5 — Flower app

*2016-12-20, version 4.4.4*

Great app, helps me look after my plants
Best year yet for my Christmas cactus

### 5/5 — Plant saver

*2015-06-15, version 2.2.2*

After being given incorrect and conflicting advice by several garden centers about some expensive trees which were doing poorly, this app with the probe diagnosed the problem and now the trees look better than the day we purchased them. Just bought two more probes so I can monitor other plants. Love it.

### 5/5 — Love my flower power

*2014-08-15, version 1.6.4*

Love these little buggers for my indoor plants and for my outdoor vegetable garden. So glad the app finally came to iPad too.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2014-07-02, version 1.6.4*

I have just purchased my 1st Flower Power device, and the iPad APP works a treat. My indoor plants die because I forget to look after them! Now I have reminders there is no excuses! I will be purchasing more Flower Powers (be nice if they could be a bit cheaper).

### 4/5 — I'm enjoying this device so far :)

*2014-07-14, version 1.6.4*

I only wish they would support Bonsai plants in there data base. Hopefully that will come in the near future. Hint, hint.

Otherwise, I love this device, nice execution!

### 3/5 — Consider deactivating....

*2019-03-20, version 4.4.4*

Instead of allowing people to download an app that just crashes, you might want to consider delisting the app.....

### 3/5 — Works decently well, but name of app is 2.2.3

*2015-09-21, version 2.2.3*

Works decently well, but name of app is 2.2.3

Developers, it looks like the name of the app as downloaded shows up as a version number. Rather than saying "Flower Power," it says 2.2.3 under the app. I think this also prohibits spotlight from finding it search as "flower power."

### 3/5 — Needs to be Debugged

*2015-09-16, version 2.2.2*

I have four Flower Powers that I monitor with my iPad Air. I love the information the app displays - water level, fertilizer level, etc. However, as soon as I set up each unit it immediately told me a new firmware update was available. No problem, as it only took a few minutes to update each unit from version hawaii-1.0.0 to hawaii-1.0.3. Then, about a week later, the app displayed the same message, saying another firmware upgrade is available. I noticed the app was displaying my firmware version as hawaii-1.0.0, despite my having updated it successfully to hawaii-1.0.3. So, I again upgraded each of my four units. I now see the same message, and the app is displaying the old firmware version. I suspect the app has a bug, as if I’ve already updated the firmware successfully, I doubt if each of my four Flower Power unites could suddenly revert back to a previous version. Parrot needs to provide better customer service. I was cut off three times, once in the middle of a conversation. I finally gave up and won’t waste my time calling them.
Also, as of 9/16/15, after updating to iOS 9 it bombs out. Sorry guys, it need an immediate fix.
