The emoji keyboard now has every emoji your iPhone knows about, instead of the couple of hundred we picked by hand. Search them by name, jump between categories, hold one to pick a skin tone. Frequently Used also updates the moment you tap something, which it really should have been doing already. A keyboard that looks like a keyboard. In dark mode the keys were black. They are now the same grey as Apple's, with the same corners and the same shadow underneath. Side by side, you shouldn't be able to tell. The suggestion bar grew up. Three slots, dividers, and your own word offered back in quotes so you can keep it when we guess wrong. Translation confirmations no longer disappear before you can read them, and errors wait until you type instead of vanishing. Caps Lock and swipe are on speaking terms. Swiping a word with Caps Lock on gave you "Hello" when every tapped key would have given you "HELLO". Fixed. New icon. There is a parrot on it. One thing worth knowing: swipe typing now starts switched off. Enough people found the trail got in the way of ordinary typing.
