### 5/5 — Salvador

*2026-02-17*

Powerful app to learn parsing Greek

### 5/5 — Nothing Like It!!

*2025-04-06*

This app gives me the practice I need to learn the various aspects of Koine Greek. Sell whatever you have to, to get this app.

### 4/5 — Great tool, but falls short

*2024-11-10*

I have just moved on to chapter 4 of Beginning Greek by Merkle and Plummer, which means I am using vocab from chapter’s 1-3. The problem is that when I select chapter three to review these verbs, this app is expecting me to know all of the V, M, and T plus all the conjugations of the verbs. The only verb conjugated at chapter 4 is the present tense of ειμι. I just don’t know what value the app brings to me until I fully learn all the verb variables because of this.

Also, when declining 1st declination alpha nouns, when the same ending (-ας) is used for Gen/Singlular and Acc/Plural nouns, for some of them I get a “1 of 2” and “2 of 2” indicator in the upper left corner of the screen, which allows me to do do one of these first then follow-up with the other; but for most of them I don’t get anything. Then when I select either the genitive or the accusative options, I don’t know until I get to the results screen if I selected the pairing the app was expecting me to select.

As a suggestion, it would be nice to also have a feature that is just straight flash cards to help learn the vocabulary without also having to decline or conjugate the terms. Yes I bought the flashcards that go with the text, but it is not always convenient to use physical cards and it would be nice to use this app for this purpose.

### 4/5 — Great App. Very Useful. Could be Improved

*2024-10-13*

This app came highly recommended by my Greek professor and I can see why. It’s very helpful. I love the customization feature that lets you customize what will be on your quiz.
My only issue is that it can’t be customized further. For instance, I used this to study as a progressed through my textbook and assumed that only material from my textbook would be included. This was not the case however. While most of my vocabulary was included. It was not limited it forms, tenses, mood and voice according to my chapter progressions which meant I would be quizzed on things I did not know because I never read them in the first place.

I’ve had a great time using the app. It’s very user friendly and fun to use.

### 4/5 — Excellent Practice, However…

*2023-11-29*

Chapter 11 Duff on 2nd Aorist/Liquid verbs we’ve not covered passive, perfect, or subjunctive, and even when I narrow verbs to only indicative verbs these keep showing up. I only got the cards down from 800 to 600 by narrowing it to indicative and it’s still throwing them in there - frustrating because these two firms are hard enough to wrap my head around the new vocab and weird tense forms.

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2023-06-29*

This app is stellar and the new version 3 takes it to a new level. I can’t imagine progressing through New Testament Greek without this app. Danny has given a gift to all New Testament students. Thank you!!!

### 3/5 — Great start, needs work!!

*2022-04-01*

I was so happy to find an app with so much flexibility and to be able to chose the curriculum as well as chapter selection. But, the app crashes constantly both on my phone and iPad and then you have to start all over. There is a lot of mundane repetition at times and not a lot of variety in parsing. When the app crashes, then you end up starting all over. Pretty annoying. And, if you want the full app, do not buy through the lite version, come back to the App Store and purchase the full app. The idea behind the app is excellent, it just has some issues that I hope are resolved not only in the full version but also in lite version since that is where my full price in app purchase, resides.

### 5/5 — Some suggestions

*2021-01-15*

Hi I was hoping to have a book-by-Book vocab sets and wondering if this is feasible in the purchasable version.

And also I heard that the purchasable app does not contain forms not found in the NT which can lead to correct parsing being recorded as incorrect, is that true? Thank you :)

### 1/5 — Use to be great

*2020-11-13*

Then they updated it and you only get so many words before you have to make a purchase.

### 3/5 — Love the concept but needs improvement

*2018-07-12*

I love the idea behind this app. I chose not to purchase the full version as there were a few things I found unhelpful. It doesn’t test ‘part of speech’, the interface is quite out of date and a little difficult on a small screen iOS device, and the order of parsing is different to that used in the several textbooks I am familiar with.

Overall it’s good, keep improving it.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review. Please check out the recent update, and please update your review if you feel it deserves it :-)
