Also, explanations are not clear and need to be corrected for grammar and accuracy. Many repeated questions within sections. Some answers are incorrect. However, there is some value to the program and I believe it will help me to pass the FAA exam. One question asks about what happens in a cold front. When you click on the explanation it talks all about warm fronts and the correct answer is correct for warm fronts, not cold fronts. This is just one of dozens of mistakes that will leave you questioning the validity of what you are learning. There were 3-4 questions this app covers that were on the actual exam. Most of the exam questions I had never seen before. Spelling, language, clarity, examples and ANSWERS wrong…… ### 1/5 — No part of this was on the test *2023-09-21, version 1.1.0* I just took the official exam and was sweating trying to figure out aeronautical charts, TAFs and questions never posted on any of these practice tests. I paid $10 to access all practice exams and scored 97 to 100 on all of them. I scored a 73 on the official exam. They practice test questions look like they are written by bots with little understanding of English syntax. Only ten questions deep into my first exam every question had serious spelling/grammar errors and one had incorrect info. Found that the in-app “Get Support” buttons do not work when I tried to report it. Feels like a scam app… ### 1/5 — Not the best *2022-01-21, version 1.1.0* The writer of the questions does not seem to be fluent in English and the explanations are usually just a quote out of the FAA study guide, which is often not that helpful. There’s definitely better resources out there such as 107 pilot. ### 1/5 — English usage is so bad it’s difficult to understand. *2022-01-01, version 1.1.0* The English grammar, spelling, and usage are of such poor quality, it is at best distracting, and at worst misleading or difficult to understand. Further, some of the questions have the wrong “correct” answer, based on other apps I have used, courses I have taken, and from reading the FAA documentation myself. I will be cancelling my subscription as soon as practicable. ### 1/5 — Don’t buy. *2021-10-02* They should have used a spell checker. Same questions over and over, some of the maps don’t go to the right questions. It doesn’t really teach you anything or provide good reasons for the answers. I thought $9.99 was a decent price for all the quizzes but quickly realized I paid for multiple quizzes with a lot of the same questions. ### 1/5 — Poor Customer Support *2021-09-02, version 1.1.0* Edit: was offered a refund by the company via Amazon gift card and still have not received any further response, nearly 2 months later. Revising my rating from 5 to 1 stars after a few more days and working with more prep questions. The “Send Us Feedback” menu button doesn’t work. The grammar and language on some of these questions are troubling and confusing. There is also one question about a “PIC must be able to function in?” With possible answers of: A) A two person team environment only B) A team environment and maximize team performance C) In solo operations. It says the correct answer is Solo, but the explanation literally says “must be able to function in a team environment and maximize team performance.” Which is it? I would hate to come across this on my actual exam in a few weeks that I spent $9.99 on to prepare for. There are also at least two occasions where a figure referenced in a question is the wrong figure or doesn’t show up at all. I would reach out with feedback via the app but, again, that option doesn’t work. Seems like poor grammar and wording, incorrect answers and missing figures is NOT worth $ 9.99 a month. There are a ton of great resources in this but the wording on the questions really should be verbatim of the FAA language. —— Worth the paid amount. The wording on some of the questions appears to have incorrect grammar or tense.
