## What is Parterre Mirror Garden?

Lay out a French formal garden where symmetry is the whole economy.

Parterre is an idle-merge garden built on one rule: every bed has a twin straight across the central gravel axis, and a plant only BLOOMS while its twin holds a plant of the very same kind. Break the symmetry and the lonely plant sulks grey, paying a mere trickle. Keep it, and both halves earn in full.

Tap a bed to plant a seedling, then drag matching plants together to merge them one tier up — ten tiers, seedling to Grand Topiary. Every merge quietly breaks a pair, so the game is a constant, satisfying dance of restoring the mirror. A row whose every plant is twinned pays ×1.5; mirror the ENTIRE plan and the central fountain erupts into a Grand Vista — the whole garden at ×3 for a full minute.

Spend florins in the Gardener's Shed on longer borders, wing parterres, richer loam, and an Auto-Gardener who plants the mirror twin of every seedling you set down. When the estate has earned enough, rake the beds bare in a Replanting: the château strikes Medallions — +10% bloom each, forever — and the Orangery keeps whatever you buy there through every replanting.
