Love the story, characters and level design. Love the different goals not just kill enemies etc. Great feel to the game. Could not stop playing it and milked the arena to decide which characters to use. You should be proud of all your work. Loved random chest function. Maybe it has to do with the difficulty, but all my progress just got deleted. I apologize to the creator if this is only on my version, but I shouldn't have to restart the whole game. It is rare to find a game that has enjoyable mechanics and storyline among the onslaught of cheap, short lifespan, pay-to-win games. The game needs polish, but it's still a wonderfully fun experience if you're a fan of the Gba fire emblem games. ### 5/5 — fire emblem fans *2015-10-19* great game but hard unless you've played fire emblem ### 5/5 — Great series *2015-09-21* I absolutely love the Partia series, it truly feels like a classic Fire Emblem game, excluding the cinematic battle-animations, which I feel doesn't make it a worse game by any means, just less impressive visually. That said, it's a solid tactics game; that requires a lot of thinking to progress in nearly every situation, and has quite a few hidden features that you may miss on your first play-through. (Ie: a few enemies you could recruit by talking to them with certain units.) I personally believe it to be an excellent game for people who love challenging tactics games that actually stimulate the mind. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Would be okay if bugs and UI were better. *2018-05-22* Much like the previous game, this game has lots of problems even now as I write this regarding how it just crashes for no reason at all during the gameplay. This might have been bearable if the game properly kept your progress after the crashes but that’s just a roll of the dice. The game crashed 3 times and I could still resume the ONE battle I was trying to get through but then after the 4th crash I lost all progress and had to start over from scratch on the battle. The UI is also not that great which adds to the frustration of this game. If these two things were fixed I’d give this game a solid 3.5 for being a relatively okay fire emblem clone but it can’t seem to even fix the basic things that would make most of the other flaws bearable. I’d suggest to wait for an official Fire Emblem game on here or wait until someone makes a better clone because this game is not it. **Developer response:** Hi Glamry, Sorry it's been so long since I've got a crash report I didn't even notice! I have to apologize for my month long absence as well. According to the crash report, the problems are when using 'Horse rule', lance and palanx unit will crash the game trying to get near unit data, and during intermission the stat viewing of those units will also crash the app. I think this was the first time the problem is reported to me because not many people are using the horse rule I guess. I will fix these problems and upload a new build ASAP. It's WAYYYY WAYYYY WAYYYY TOO LUCK BASED! And the RNG is brutal! I'm at the chapter where you fight that dark haired swordsman who fought you in the first level, I think it's chapter 3? He is WAYYY too strong! Like...either save him for later or make him someone you run away from, not to mention most normal units are way too strong for the enemy or way too weak for the player. Now you might say I should arena abuse, but I shouldn't HAVE to grind like that in a game like this! Like, not everyone has the patience for that! Overall, good game ruined by luck based idiocy. ### 2/5 — Couldn't be more disappointed *2016-05-24* So after the most recent update I go to play the game and see how better it preforms. To my surprise MY SAVE FILES ARE GONE! Poof vanished! I was almost finished with the game and I had 3 saved files just in case one accidentally got messed up so getting on to having to start all over when I spent forever grinding in the area to max out all my characters was a huge let down. Consider my $6 a tip ### 3/5 — It needs improvement. *2017-07-05* It's a fun little game, that scales well to it's predecessor, if a bit confusing at times where the two tie in together. Ig not for a few glaring balancing issues, and glitches, it would be enjoyable at all times. If a few kinks were worked out, it could've been better. There is also the issue that an actual demon hides in the Rng. Either it's scaled against the player, or it's broken. ### 3/5 — Not a direct sequel to the first *2015-03-23, version 1.0.8* I was looking forward to a direct sequel to the first - a promotion for the main prince character and a continuation of my previous cohort. Haven't played this one all the way through, but was disappointed that it wasn't a direct sequel. ### 3/5 — テンポの改善をお願いします *2015-02-27* 味方軍や敵軍が多いと、(しかも敵軍が待ち伏せタイプでなく、自軍や味方軍にむかってくるタイプだともっと)テンポが悪くプレイヤーのターンが来るまで数分かかってしまいます。特に stage3やstage10,11,12 … など 早送りとか敵軍が移動するところをスキップできるよう、テンポを改善して欲しいです。 2/27 追記: バグ報告 stage19 クリア後、復帰してくるValについて 兵種がLoadに変わっていますが、彼を出撃させコマンドを出すときに兵種変更前にあった「Mount」が残ったままです。そのコマンドをタップするとCavalier S(騎兵) に戻ってしまうどころか、HPとMGC以外のステータスがほとんど0になり、移動することもできなくなってしまいます。 修正お願いいたします。 ### 3/5 — Fun but crashes *2014-10-27* It has a somewhat better introduction and character development than the first one. It is a bit harder since you don't get any promoted characters at the beginning of the game, so it's harder to grind for money. All of the chapters crash right off the bat or in the middle of it, specially 5 and 7 so that's something that really needs to be fixed asap. Other then that, the game is truly enjoyable. ### 4/5 — Love it, however *2016-05-10, version 1.1.1* I absolutely love the game! I am up to battling Malak, but it seems that I cannot attack him, only defend and counterattack, I cannot use any of my archmages or snipers. I also cannot attack his healer. I grew up playing Fire Emblem and finding these games at 30 years of age feels like a blast from the past. I played Partia 1 almost straight through over the course of a couple days. Partia 2 took me a little longer and I can’t wait to buy/start Partia 3. I’ve read your comments about how this project took a lot of time/effort and didn’t have much pay off. I still think about this series to this day. It's getting decently aged now and probably is lost in the sea of forget but it holds a special place in my memory. We have expert mode that culls the experience gain for player like you who finds the game too easy or casual! Regular mode is adjusted so a player who never use the arena to level up could beat the game without too much trouble.
