## What is Partita?

Organize, practice, perform. All in one app.

Partita is the elegant way to manage your sheet music on iPad, iPhone, and Mac. Keep all your scores in one library. Annotate them with Apple Pencil. Practice with a metronome, Auto Scroll, and Repeat.

YOUR LIBRARY
Your sheet music in one beautiful library. Import your PDFs, scan your printed music, or find new music on IMSLP without leaving the app. Bring in your whole library from another app. Send a PDF to Partita from any app. Each score has its own entry: title, composer, works, key, tempo, and more. For a limited time, Score Identification is free: the app reads your content and identifies the scores and composers inside your PDFs. Partita Pro builds the table of contents. You can also fill in the entry yourself. Sort your library by title, composer, or date. Filter it by genre, period, region, or instrument. Every score gets Poster Art. Pick one of ours or use your own photo.

THE READER
See one full page or two facing pages at once. Read on a dark page in low light. The Contents list shows each work and movement with its page number. Add them yourself or let Partita Pro build the list. Star a work to add it to Favorites. Use Search Score to find text on any page.

ANNOTATE
Add fingerings, bowings, and reminders with Apple Pencil. Draw in six colors with a pen, a pencil, or a highlighter. A lasso and a ruler are in the same palette. Keep your annotations on layers that you can show or hide. With Pro, your handwriting turns into text in Edwin, a font made for engraved music. You can use Partita without Apple Pencil.

PRACTICE TOOLS
The metronome, Auto Scroll, and Repeat are accessible in the score. Set the tempo, time signature, subdivisions, and accents. You can also tap in a tempo. In landscape, turn on Auto Scroll and start the metronome. Partita lays the score out horizontally and moves the staff with the beat. You play with no page turns and see only the notes you need. In Auto Scroll, mark where a passage starts and ends. Auto Scroll loops through it again and again. The metronome is free. Auto Scroll and Repeat come with Partita Pro.

PRACTICE HISTORY
See your streaks and your progress. Partita logs your practice time automatically while a score is open. There is no timer to start. Set a weekly goal and keep your streak going. A heat map shows up to a year of practice.

SETLISTS
Setlists for rehearsals, services, and recitals. Group your scores, put them in order, and play straight through from the first to the last.

ON EVERY DEVICE
Your scores, annotations, and practice history sync through your own iCloud account. Open them on iPad, iPhone, and Mac. Your library stays private. Partita has no feeds, shows no ads, and sells no data.

FREE AND PARTITA PRO
Most of Partita is free: your whole library on every device, printed music scanned with your camera, full-page and two-up reading, annotation with Apple Pencil, setlists and a metronome, practice history, and private iCloud sync. For a limited time, Score Identification is free too.

Partita Pro adds a table of contents for multi-work scores, Score Roadmap (a map of measures and repeats), Auto Scroll that follows the beat, Repeat that loops any passage, handwriting converted to clean text, and support from the developer.

Partita Pro is an optional subscription. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. After the trial, it is billed each month or each year, and it renews until you cancel. One subscription covers iPad, iPhone, and Mac.

Identification and the table of contents need iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27 on a device that supports Apple Intelligence. Handwriting to text needs iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-27

• Score Identification is free for a limited time. The app identifies the scores and composers inside your PDFs.
• Works in a collection. When one PDF holds several works, Partita identifies each work from its own pages.
• Add Work. Add Work identifies a new work when you save it. A new work that starts inside a multi-movement work becomes one of its movements, in page order.

Fixes
• Re-identify no longer gives a work the title of its collection.
• A new identification never replaces a title or composer that you typed.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-22

• iPhone Duo. Partita works around the hinge. Half open, the score is on the top screen and the metronome is on the bottom. Library, Setlists, Home, Search, and Settings keep their content clear of the fold.
• Page-turner pedals. Turn pages with a Bluetooth pedal. In Auto Scroll and Repeat, the pedals play, pause, and go back to the start. Set them up in Settings > Connected Devices.
• Siri and Spotlight. Find a score by its title, composer, or other details, and open it in Partita.
• A clearer Pro mark. A small lock on a control's icon shows a Pro feature.

Fixes
• A tall single page opens at its top. A swipe down scrolls the page, and it closes the score only from the top of the page.
• Restore Purchases tells you what it found.
• Subscription Help knows when you are signed in to iCloud.
• Identify Scores Automatically no longer shows on for free users.
• New users see the included score on Home.
• The Settings sidebar shows the selection clearly.
