What's New

-Photo fixes-
Photos now stay attached to the inspection they were taken on. Fixed several cases where a photo could appear on an unrelated inspection or on two records at once.
Fixed causes of photos disappearing after a sync, including attachments being removed while another record still needed them.
Photos are no longer re-sent on every sync, which makes syncing faster and reduces data use.
New: Verify and Upload Attachments
A new button at the bottom of the Sync menu checks every photo on your device against the server and uploads anything missing. Useful if you suspect photos didn't make it. It requires Wi-Fi, shows progress while it runs, and can be cancelled at any time.

-Map display-
Filled areas now display correctly on published maps.
Records published from the office now appear on the map even when only their shape information was provided.

-Tracing-
Find Upstream Protective Device now finds only protective devices — fuses, reclosers and breakers.
Added Find Upstream Protective Device or Switch for when you also want switches and sectionalizers.

-Stability and performance-
Fixed problems that could cause the map to stop responding on certain shapes, and removed logging that slowed down map drawing.

### 3.70.2 — 2026-05-07

A new Dark Mode switch has been added to the View tab. The app no longer follows the iOS system appearance setting - Dark Mode is now controlled entirely by this toggle and persists across launches. Toggle it on for a dark UI, off for a light UI; flip it any time without restarting the app.

Independent Night View
Night View now controls only the map background. With both toggles on screen you can mix and match

How to use
1) Open the View tab.
2) Dark Mode: top toggle in the General section — controls UI (nav bars, table cells, forms, status bar).
3) Night view: second toggle — controls only the map.
4) Use them independently in any combination.

New Features
-Expanded electrical tracing: Tracing operations now recognize sectionalizers and breakers in addition to existing device types, giving you a more complete picture of upstream and downstream network paths.
-Update progress view: When an update is available, choosing Install now takes you to a dedicated screen so you can watch download progress in real time.
-iOS Dark Mode support: Splash screens, launch screens, and “No Maps” messaging now adapt automatically to your device’s appearance setting on both iPhone and iPad, in portrait and landscape.

Improvements
-Set default navigation app: App will ask on first time use which navigation app you want to use (Apple, Google, Waze, etc.) and use that app going forward until changed.
-Smarter update prompts: The “Update available” dialog now appears once per app launch instead of every time the app returns to the foreground.
-Redesigned Credentials screen (iOS): Rebuilt with a scrolling layout that handles the on-screen keyboard more gracefully, especially on smaller devices and in Split View.
-Clearer Test Connection feedback (iOS): Connection test results now appear in a clear pass/fail dialog rather than a small visual indicator.
-Cleaner menus for Actions and Live Lists: Items are now grouped by mapset/module.
-Modernized launch screen (iOS): The launch screen now uses system-managed colors so it transitions seamlessly between light and dark mode at the OS level.

Bug Fixes
-Fixed black map area when the keyboard is visible (iOS): Resolved an issue where part of the map could appear black while the keyboard was on screen; the map now redraws correctly at its new size.

Removed the Find HLT action for further testing.

### 3.68 — 2025-10-26

-Added new tracing action to trace to sectionalizers, reclosers, and switches with "hot line tagging" capability. (Contact Partner Support for more information)

-Reverted the Remember Location and Zoom functionality after prompting the user to update. This feature was causing oddities in the map and has been reverted until a more full proof method can be found.
