Party Banner is a new app that allows you to AirPlay custom-designed, digital banners to your smart TV for events and special occasions. The app is perfect for decorating your TV for a party or special event, and it's a lot of fun too! Using AirPlay, you can mirror your iPhone or iPad screen to your TV, and then select a banner from the app. The animated banner will appear on your TV, and you can even customize the name for your VIP. Minimal customization makes it really wanting. Couldn't even do a St. Patrick's themed banner. ### 5/5 — Great Idea! *2025-02-10* I will be honest and say that I haven’t used this a whole lot but in the times that I have used it I found it very innovative with being able to cast to TV or screen and just a great idea. It’s simple but fits the need when needed. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a special day coming up. The banners don’t seem to produce sound so if it was like other apps I’ve gotten that let music keep playing, and add more holiday banner options and it would be perfect! Unfortunately I won’t have much use for it at all if I can’t play my music :/ ### 2/5 — Limited options *2022-12-28, version 2.2* No options for Xmas or new years. Look out for them in a future update! ### 4/5 — Pretty good except for the custom sign options *2022-10-23* I love it, such a great app that fits what I want to have in the background for holidays and parties! But I will admit that I’m not happy with the custom sign option. It’s not because I have to pay the developer to make it, but rather instead that I’m not even given a lot of choices or allowed to just make one myself. I think we should be allowed to have basic customization options, but if we need something detailed and/or intricate then we can contact the developer. It would be awesome if we can upload our own photos and fonts, or at least be able to change colors and add animations. Maybe even emojis or clip-art too! Also maybe allow the option for more than one name to be put, just in case the celebration is for more than 1 person. And being able to add additional text would be awesome too! It’s a fair app for that price, but it’s a simple banner, nothing special. Still can’t find out how to use the “custom banner token” option and the explanations for it are abysmal at best. 3 stars, because this issue might be an ID-10T error. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review! Simple idea executed very well. I’m loving it so far. Of course, there can never be enough banners to choose from so let’s hope the library continues to grow.
