The block feature didn’t work because he was same club and he was able to continue harassing me in club chat and kept hiring me just to prove I couldn’t escape. The new ToU and overly strict moderation have taken so much of the fun and freedom out of Campus Chat. You can’t even have normal, harmless conversations without worrying that something will be taken out of context and get you silenced. What makes it worse is how some moderators seem to take their role way too seriously, almost like they’re trying to prove how much power they have. Moderation should be about keeping the community safe, not making players feel like they’re constantly being watched or punished. I understand having rules, but the current approach is making the game feel restrictive, hostile, and less like the community it used to be. ### 2/5 — Be careful *2026-08-11, version 5.06* I’ve been on this game since it was only a year or so old. It’s changed a lot over the years! Some bullying still happens and I DEFINITELY do not feel it’s a game that is safe for anyone under 17. And I would even be leery of letting a 17 year old play it. It’s been getting worse with their new updates in my opinion because they are trying to censor a lot of what makes this game the game it is and has always been. Yes, you run the risk of being bullied. Obviously like with anything when it comes to the internet, you want to be careful with who knows how much. For the age to get dropped down to 13 is absolutely ridiculous. Please do not let your children socialize on here. And if a developer responds to this review with “we age check through google/apple” that is NOT enough. Any child can make a fake email! This app heavily uses communication. Us adults SHOULD not be socializing with minors. Between the basically naked avatars we have and adults who have been on this game forever welcoming children DOES NOT MAKE SENSE AT ALL!!! This is supposed to be a game based around college right!? WHAT 13 YEAR OLD IS GOING TO COLLEGE AND LIVING IN A DORM!? MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE! You are welcoming children to get groomed and sought after. It’s only a matter of time before this game makes the news because some predator got a hold of a child. ### 1/5 — Unsafe & Harassment Central *2026-08-05, version 5.06* I wanna start this off by saying I’ve played this game for 3 years. I’ve left a review before this and it wasn’t pleasant either. But the game is going more downhill as it ages. DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY THIS. I don’t know what they were thinking allowing CHILDREN to download this. It is unsafe and dangerous!! Children used to be banned upon discovery, but now they permit this, and children will of course lie about their age too and be given access to sexual themes and even creepier people. All this so they can get an App spotlight on the App Store. 😑 I already stopped spending money here but this sealed the deal for me. Devs priority is money and always has been. Adults themselves get away with harassing others and racist/sexist/etc comments here because they “don’t moderate dms”. The advertising vs reality is very different. There’s a lot to be address before allowing minors on this game! ### 1/5 — Disappointed: False Age Rating *2026-08-05, version 5.06* I have played this game for 7 years and never would I have thought it would have gotten to this point. A Thinking Ape developers added on a safe wall within their game so they could successfully secure a lower age rating. The safe wall they implemented was censorship of 18+ players, and a faulty age verification mechanism that asks you what age you are and you can very easily lie on. If you do state your age is under 18, you lack any ability to play the game whatsoever (chatting, adding, gifting, reading club walls, public chats, and other game mechanics essential in the game.) but still get to make in game purchases, so this age rating change is useless when the game is incapacitated for these users. I also noticed with this new age rating that developers state that Mature themes and Suggestive/Sexual Content is infrequent, that is NOT the case. Just this past couple of months they have released multiple suggestive avatars whether it be shard avatars or hunt avatars (Avatars: Styled people you can wear within the game that reflect on your accounts stats). Two of the Card shard avi’s I’ll note are a man in a bath tub nude but having bubbles covering private areas, same with the woman avatar. Two of the XC avis you can obtain from getting silver XC crowns are faced backwards with a towel covering their butts but opening the towels this is also being suggestive that they are nude. They have a box avi you can still purchase if someone has the tradeable box where the avi is a pole dance. There are many more but if i named them all we’d be here all day. Your ToS also states this game is 18+, but your age rating states otherwise. I believe this game is being misrepresented as they just recently implemented this “safe wall”, and are trying to keep their target audience broader for profit. Many of their players have tried communicating with them about this change how it is problematic. The developers have gone ghost and are hiding behind their in-game moderators which are volunteers. If your child finds this game DO NOT let them use it. ### 1/5 — Ata supports grooming and pedos beware *2026-08-05, version 5.06* This game is not for children this game has never been for children. There are predators on this game that ata doesn't do anything against and now they are hopping to get children onto the game to spend their parents money. They lied to the community saying they weren't trynna have the age lowered. This game is a cest pool of degenerates and toxicity. If you let your kids play it they will end up with more trauma then you could ever give as a parent. If the pedos don't get them then the farm families will. It has been agreed upon that anyone under the age of 18 will be farmed off the game. If ata won't protect the children we will become the martyrs that will bully them off game. ATA does nothing to protect its players so why would they do anything to protect minors? They DO NOT listen to the players at all—all of which are 20-40 year olds. This game was never for kids and has no safe guards, despite why they may lie about. It’s not a safe environment for kids and never has been. It’s an adult game and it’s trying to push out players that have been giving them money for 10+ from in app purchases. Avis are butt naked, they censor everything you say or silence you, and support does nothing when someone is being bullied. Opening a ticket does nothing and PvP is a vastly unfair system. They used to allow communication and interaction that was sometimes adult but not over the top… NOW they are moderating and silencing players completely incompetently for even a possible perceived impropriety…. And they have an in game PvP system that encourages harassment and bullying and they promote it as “non harassment as a game mechanic” people will attack other players day and night for being gay, being non respectful (which is very arbitrary in people’s opinions) and they feel it’s “ok” because it’s part of the game? The game’s currently unplayable ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2026-08-18, version 5.06* I’m a long time player of PIMD, recently I’ve seen a LOT of changes and they aren’t particularly good ones. First of all, the new silencing policy is CRAZY in my years playing I have not once been silenced until recently I got silenced for a week with no prior silences or warnings for “posting something in the wrong channel” I asked what the potd was in the student union chat. SECOND, this game is NOT safe for minors, everything that has been supposedly put into place so 13 year olds can play is simply not enough, it’s all words, no action. What real safeguards are on here to protect our kids other than selecting a number from a list as “age verification” kids lie, it’s that simple. 3rd - the communication between devs and mods is almost nonexistent, why we have devs saying the game is for 13+ in tickets but on forums stating it’s 16+ and then our mods saying it’s 18+ in the TOS is crazy. Not to mention the blatant favoritism from mods themselves, devs protecting predators amongst many other things.
