No big deal, loads of devices like this try to make money by charging a yearly fee. So I go into my account and I find for one year it cost twice as much as what I paid for the device to begin with. This is a total scam. **Developer response:** In September 2020, for the first time in four years, we increased our single-unit subscription price to keep a high level of service and continue investing in product development and cloud infrastructure. We sent emails to all our customers (for whom we had emails) who purchased our solution prior to that date to let them know that their subscription renewal price would be *perpetually* grandfathered.
