Listening to the cantor brought back memories of my father listening to the old cantors. I inherited the love. I also saw cantor Schwartz and Davis in Ventnor New Jersey this past summer. What a pleasure. Funny Rabbi Zuckerman grew up with my Rabbi Adam Wohlberg. I lost my beloved brother this past summer and I say Kaddish every day with PAS. I enjoy listening to Rabbi Cosgrove. He teaches, yet he has a great dry sense of humour. Yet proper main sanctuary decorum Most of all I enjoy Hazzan’s Mussaf Amida And yes, I enjoy.having musical accompaniment. The way our liturgical music was written and sung. For me, now that we have Israel, I see nothing wrong with bringing Back proper nusach with musical accompaniment. Also leaving the Bimah and service to trained clergy. It’s the only way that our Neshumah will Connect to Hashem YASHER Koach. !!! I pray myself but with this app I can feel like I’m part of a Jewish community. I love the fact of the livestream as well as the recorded services so I can watch whenever I want or can. When I went on for my first Friday evening service I was mesmerized by the voices of the cantors and the speeches by the rabbis. When I need some inspiration and cheering up or just to feel the power of prayer and my religion, I turn to the PAS app where I can enjoy all of the beautiful music and inspiring speeches. It’s also very easy to get on the livestream from the app rather than through the website. I also love the subtitles that translate the songs because I’m increasing my Hebrew Vocabulary. I wasn’t raised with music in the shul but now I can’t be without it. It doesn’t get any better than PAS. I’ve downloaded all the music I possibly can and play it when preparing Shabbat meals and other times when it’s just the connection I need. Our Friday nights and Shabbat revolve around PAS services online. We are so grateful for the live stream and special events. We get music, spiritual, nurturing, intellectual stimulation, and humor all in one wonderful package from PAS.
