Woo hoo!! Thank you for bringing it back. This truly is the best app for making your own wallet passes. I’m so happy. Saving my last star for when code 39 barcode is added, because my kids’ school district uses a dumb app that needs code 39. Now, I’ve got a backlog of QR codes I need to get working on! Thank you again! This app worked so well for a long time. It didn’t collect any data, there was no account/login required, there were never any popups asking to rate the app. I was able to keep all my QR codes for smart devices in my Apple wallet. That meant that when I needed to remove and add a device to Home, I didn’t need to take down the camera, or take off the door lock, or anything. I could just open wallet on my Apple Watch, get the QR code, and keep going. I had so many use cases, including keeping track of gift cards. I even used it to make a card for my son’s student ID, then sharing it with him, so he could use the barcode from his wallet on his Apple Watch, and didn’t need to download the district’s chosen student app—which was great because he doesn’t have a phone. The app stopped working a while ago, and I sent a couple emails from the app to the developer. I offered all the information I could think of that might be helpful, but never got any responses. The app just stopped connecting to its server one day, and never worked again. I can’t believe I have to find another app now. I gave back another star because of the years that it worked so well for me, but needed to write this review so that in case a new user comes across it, they’ll know it doesn’t work anymore, on any device. ### 4/5 — “Check your internet” error *2026-08-15, version 4.2.1* Good app. But just went to add a card today and it told me to check my internet. But today I kept on getting “server down” messages. I hadn’t even known it transferred any data to a server. Tried sending feedback to the developer and the email bounced back. Maybe they’ve gone bust? Unfortunately the developer’s domain is currently not resolving which is breaking the ability to add anything to Apple wallet. (Apple wallet passes are generated on the server.) hopefully that will get resolved. Until then it’s still possible to scan barcodes and screenshot the result to use. Just a tip for anyone who might find that useful. ### 1/5 — Kinda worked before but not anymore *2026-07-04, version 4.2.1* I used this app to add a keychain tag to my phones wallet. It created the tag and looked pretty legit. Unfortunately the barcode never worked, attempted scanning at three locations. Strangely same scanners would read other barcodes in my digital wallet, just not this one. Decided tonight to see if I could make any setting adjustments to make it scannable but now I’m getting an error about unable to connect to internet to create the replacement card. Tried two devices. iPhone on WiFi and AT&T, iPad Pro on T-mobile but both got same error when attempting to add to wallet. I guess I’ll waste more time trying to find an app that works to save a little by having my membership card in my phone. Ugh ### 1/5 — Once great, seems abandoned *2026-07-01, version 4.2.1* Lots of junky pass apps out there! This was an exception to that - but now, it lets you walk through the creation of a pass, then cites a connection error when you attempt to generate the pass. Please check your internet connection and try again later.” ### 1/5 — Service is DEFUNCT *2026-07-29, version 4.2.1* Tried this app, and the first thing I tried to add brought up a message that said “We were unable to connect to the service at this time.” I asked Google what gives, and it said “the service appears to be broken because the developers domain (girappe.com) is down and no longer resolves, meaning the server required to generate the Apple Wallet pass is unreachable.
