## What is Passboken?

Passboken is a training app for anyone who wants to get started, build muscle, lose weight or improve endurance – with a plan that explains why.

• Ready-made programs for your goal and your gym days: 3, 4 or 5 days a week, 6–16 weeks, with progression and lighter weeks built in. One tap puts the whole program in your calendar. There are also programs for a half marathon and for weight loss with powerwalking.
• 650 exercises with images and instructions. Tick the equipment you have – exercises you cannot do are swapped for an alternative.
• Workout mode with last time's weight for every set, a rest timer with sound even when the screen is locked, and records right away.
• Powerwalk, running and walk/run intervals with voice cues and vibration, so you don't have to look at your phone.
• Calendar with recurring planning, reminders and syncing to your phone's calendar.
• Apple Health (optional): weight and workouts can be imported, and steps and sleep are shown in the calendar – including from Garmin, Polar, Fitbit and Apple Watch. Passboken only reads – nothing is written back.
• Body: weight and measurements with charts, a weekly check-in and goals with progress.
• Nutrition: daily calorie and protein needs based on your body data and goal, a guideline for water, and factual information about food, fluids, alcohol and nicotine.
• Statistics: workouts per week, sets per muscle group and estimated max per exercise.
• Learn: the essentials about muscle, weight, cardio and rest – short and practical.

Everything is saved to your account, works offline and is also available at passboken.se. Sign in with Apple, Google or email. Export your data as CSV and delete your account whenever you like. No ads.

Passboken gives general advice and does not replace a doctor or dietitian. Everyone is different – listen to your body.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-31

New in 1.0.6

  • Fixed: workouts could appear several times in your phone's calendar. Now each workout appears once, in the calendar you chose.
  • Old duplicates are cleaned up automatically after the update, and Settings → Calendar has a Clean up calendar button. Planned and completed workouts are kept – your own events are never touched.
  • If you turn off the calendar link you can choose to remove Passboken's events from the calendar.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-30

New in 1.0.5

  • Records have their own tab under Statistics: every record, newest first, and the best per exercise.
  • Weight goals with a date show whether the pace is reasonable and roughly what daily deficit it means.
  • Plan cardio sessions right in the calendar with suggested interval sessions – walk/run, 4 × 4, hills, tabata and more.
  • Cardio in the Workouts tab: ready-made under the Cardio type, your own under My workouts – save, change and star them like gym workouts, including the interval sessions in the programs.
  • Rest now starts by default after an exercise's last set too (can be turned off in Settings).
  • Programs can have different times on weekends, and times can be changed afterwards for sessions already in the calendar.
  • During a workout: an overview of what is done and what is left, and a clearer finish on the last exercise.
  • Trophies are only awarded for sessions logged in Passboken, not for sessions from your watch.
  • A planned workout started from the Workouts tab or Home is ticked off in the calendar.
  • 701 exercises – 51 new, including the Copenhagen plank, balance dome, balance and stretching. If you have chosen female in settings, more and more exercises show a female figure, and the pregnancy workouts always do.
  • Fixed: the workout time kept running after Finish workout, the calendar week count included sessions from your watch, the calendar flashing "Nothing planned" while loading, overlapping numbers in Statistics with enlarged text, clipped buttons in the nutrition
profile, "Beeps 3-2-1" shown for steady-pace sessions, and text scrolling under the clock at the top.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-10-27

New in 1.0.4

  • The interval session is redesigned: see how the session is built before you start – warm-up, run, walk, cool-down and total time.
  • During the session: big numbers and bars, how many run and walk intervals remain, and buttons to skip the warm-up and cool-down.
  • Beeps three seconds before every change and a voice saying "Run, round 3" or "Walk, 5 left" – even with the screen locked. The voice is available in English and Swedish. The silent switch must be off to hear it with the screen locked.
  • Send feedback right from Settings → Account. We reply by e-mail.
  • Completed cardio sessions can be opened and viewed afterwards, and Home shows your latest session of any kind.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-27

New in 1.0.3

  • Awards: 41 trophies for records, streaks, distances and milestones – a trophy cabinet in Statistics.
  • The calendar is redesigned with a week view, program week and watch activities. Weekly e-mail on Sundays (off by default).
  • A note per exercise in the workout, and "I missed a week" shifts the program.
  • Apple Health: choose the step source, heart rate and calories on watch workouts, edit and re-read watch workouts, weight from the scale is marked "From the scale".
  • The walk/run session shows what was walking and what was running, total time, pace and heart rate.
  • Plan workouts with images, a preview and a filter for your own workouts. The program schedule shows the week's days more clearly.
  • New programs: the police fitness tests, and swimming as a cardio type.
  • Settings in four tabs. Calendar events are written as private.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-25

• Programs have their own tab, with a guide that suggests programs by goal, level, days and place.
• New programs and workouts: military training with the Swedish Armed Forces fitness test, CrossFit, training during and after pregnancy, glutes and core, and three weight-loss programs with running.
• New look: workout and program cards with images, Home with rings, a celebration when the workout is done.
• Workout mode: timed sets with a countdown, progress line, a small muscle figure per exercise, no weight field for bodyweight exercises. Adapt a workout, add to a workout, duplicate and archive your own workouts.
• Statistics: progression per exercise, adherence to the plan, cardio, sleep and steps. Year in numbers and a step goal.
• Apple Health: workouts from your watch get heart rate, calories and distance. Fitbit connects via Google Health – the steps are in Settings. Steps and sleep are read more often.
• The calendar switches week and month with a swipe. Goals can be edited. A new measurement is prefilled and shows the difference.
• Learn has its own illustrations per article. Settings are grouped, and About Passboken is its own page.
