The App is very good, what is NOT good is the delay of the deposit transfers from my bank to my passbook card.  I prefer to pay a fee for each cash transfer than to have to wait up to 6 days to see the deposit reflected on the Passbook card.  Cash App and Venom base the success of their apps on the speed with which they make cash transfers.  It's rare in 2022 for cash transfers from my account to Passbook to take this long. They don’t help at all and if they delay the emergencies that a client may have when waiting for that money.  There is a lot to improve in Passbook and I think this is the main point to correct: Make money transfers more efficient and faster.

It’s great, but I wish there was a faster way to transfer money into the account, cash app has a quick way to add money, I believe this is one of the only downsides to this app, the lack of speed compared to any other online banking apps. But other than that it’s great. Most negative reviews seem to be based on misunderstandings that could easily be avoided.

I’d say I have been using passbook for quite some time , I had 1 or 2 minor problems but it wasn’t bad . I am currently using passbook and I love it , some features in the app can be change to make things better.

Had an absolutely great experience with customer service twice! Both times my problem has been solved right away. Very polite and effective communication. Also app itself has a user-friendly design, everything is easy to find, not overloaded with unnecessary informations. I recommend it!! :)

I tried numerous times to make things worked with this company but trust me . If they can make things difficult for you , they will . First, when I created my act i used to have a email and a phone number that I no longer have neither I have access to it . I called r service numerous times who told me to create a new account so they could delete the old one . I’m other words , because this company doesn’t allowed costumers to change a email address on they website , customers would have to create a new account , get another card , re-do direct deposit witch would hold our money for 1-2 weeks . I done everything they asked me . What they did ? They canceled the new account I created and left the old one saying I had requested that change witch I never did . All credit cards I have allows me to update my email address . Not this company . Plus I tried to link the account with apple pay . Couldn’t do it because they had my old number on they system even thought I had changed my phone number on the app . Save yourself from this headache . Obviously, if you never have to change your email or phone number it’s a good card to have especially if you do money transfers with Remitly.

I absolutely love this bank they are very very very friendly they have the best customer service anyone could ask for, if you call with a problem big or small they are quick to fix or get to the bottom of anything asked of them and correct anything that needs to be corrected and or fixed with your account or app it doesn’t matter what the case may be this bank shows the most Professionalism I have ever seen and they deserve 5 STARS across the board! They go above and beyond all standards and show the most respect for there customers/clients Thankyou so much for your outstanding professionalism!

We love Passbook in my family. I have an acct for myself, my husband and my college aged child. Sending money to and from is incredibly easy using the app and anytime I’ve needed customer service they are super helpful, kind and quick to resolve anything that needs resolution. Nightly recommended.

Honestly the best banking service I have ever had , they make life so much simpler and easier when it comes to banking . 
I can use my card anywhere and I’m not charged an insane amount of fees !! I encourage you to sign up <~ which their sign up process is even easy if you are considering switching to them . Make the move you won’t regret it !! Customer service is always polite and kind by the way .

They closed my account for no reason, when I call them. They gave me no reason! They are soo unprofessional sent me an email that my account will be closed and spelt my name wrong! I called them they said my account will be closed on January 1st !!! Like what???? I need my money it’s almost the holidays and they stated they will send a check by february!!! What? I should sue you guys because it makes no sense !!!! I neeed my money!!

I downloaded the app a week ago and tried to transfer some fund into the app. A day later I got emails saying my account is suspended and they need additional information such as self photo and bank account statement. I emailed but got a few other account manager emails after that, with the request for additional information which made me confused on what information I need to provide.
A few days later they said the account is closed for no reason and didn’t clarify what purpose they have for own my personal information. Never ever trust this app and the product they have!!!

I ordered a card and I told the representative that I didn’t want the flag anymore and it still came with the flag, I called and ordered a new card the guy assured me that the flag won’t be on it and guess what it came with the flag again. They will make things hard for you, I’m not sure anymore if I still wanna bank with this bank anymore, given the fact that I waited 22 days and they assured me that the flag won’t be on the card anymore and I just literally open my mail and he flag is still on the card.

I hate the fact that you take forever to make the funds available for a cheque deposit. It cost so much to put cash in & to take cash out. This account should only be used with online transactions (i.e purchases etc) oh and doesn’t works with zelle for receiving or sending money. It needs much more improvement. Let’s see what the future holds for passbook.

THE WORST BAKING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!
I am a user of online bankings such as Wise, Revolut and etc. since 2017 and after moving US I opened Passbook which made me upset at the first activity with the bank. I could not get my direct deposit money which was under my family member’s name because it didn’t match my name which sounds very funny. They send my money back to the sender which means I will never see that money which I suppose to get in order to send to my family abroad. I even missed other online bankings while using this passbook. The only thing I like with this bank is the design of its card that’s it. As a person who is using 7 banking accounts at the same time I never will recommend this bank to anyone. 1 star ranking is what it deserves. Hope you will improve your banking system for future costumers because I am going to close my account not even using a day.

I am being using passbook for about 2 years and it is ok ,It is reliable it gives you in sensitives but the only problem and the most important is that when you make a transfer from your bank to passbook it takes a long time and that annoying and does not make you want to continue using your this bank

everything was fine until you lose your card and there is no way to use your money, the app does not provide a virtual card so you can use your money, they say that your card will arrive in 10 days, well, it's been three weeks now, the app has the option to add your bank to transfer money from your bank to your passbook account but not to do the opposite, never again, as soon as I can I stop using passbook, I don't recommend it, use Current instead

I opened an account a few months ago, and somehow they managed to mess up the name of my account by misspelling it. I contacted them to get it resolved, but they never were able to get it corrected, rather they automatically closed my account without even telling me that they will be doing that. I retried to open an account but it just tells me to wait for them to review my account creation before they will send me the new card. It’s been several weeks since I created and have heard nothing. At this stage, I have no interest in using these services anymore. It’s the biggest time waster ever.

I have been using passbook for a couple of weeks until suddenly I got an email that my account was closed. I called them to ask why and they literally told me they had no reason for closing my account. Yes, that’s exactly what they said. My account was closed last month, the first person I spoke to promised I would get my money in a couple of days, the second person I spoke to told me I would get my money next year 2021. What if I had a life and death emergency that needed money, it would’ve gone south. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MONEY!!!

My balance is about $200 less than it currently should be. I have several pending transactions showing up that have already settled, clearly impacting my available funds. To top it off, funds that should have been returned to my account when these pending charges drop off have have just disappeared!

Have reached out to customer service on the phone and by email and have received no acknowledgment or solution to my issue. 

Stay far, far away.

I havent experienced any issues with my account or with deposits, that goes from bank transfers to check deposit and money transfers from cashapp. Really do recommend it, nice little back up debit card in my opinion

I’ve had my Passbook account for about 2-3 years now. The account itself is mostly a basic bank account, debit card, ach payments, etc. The main and most attractive feature has to be sending money abroad with Remitly. They do support sending money to US bank accounts with Zelle, and that does arrive same day. Passbook also supports Apple Pay. Considering there is absolutely zero fees to have the bank account, this is a great banking product.
