It comes with many features that are not even available in "paid" products. It has been stable for the past 6 years I have used this product. I set my rating to 3 stars, as this only works with dropbox who have changed their policy to limit the number of connections unless you pay. Since I already pay for other data cloud services, it would be extremely helpful if you could select from one of these as well, such as Google Drive, OneDrive or iCloud. It would also be really awesome if it would allow for more icons, perhaps from what the iOS provides (the icon issue is only a little thing, not really needed, but would be nice). Each time, I have found that it is only reading parts of the source databases, rather than all entries. This leaves data hidden or missing, and unable to be accessed or read. Tried rebuilding source DBs, and renaming them, all to no avail. Please give us continued access to Passdrop 1 until these problems are rectified. ### 1/5 — Incomplete Databases *2017-09-16, version 2.0.1* Sadly, a step backwards from the original PassDrop app. PassDrop 2 does not sync properly with DropBox database. Not all entries appear in the new app. Some that don't appear can be found using the Search function, and others can't. This major failure needs to be addressed urgently. ### 4/5 — Some groups on desktop don't show in app *2017-08-19, version 2.0.1* It's great that the developer has taken up the mantle of sustaining this very useful app. It opens my keypass file, but a couple of the groups don't show, even when I re-make them, and I can't for the life of me see the sync button to select which version iPad or Dropbox should be kept. (Edit 19/08. I've found the sync button! Got it opened it couldn't verify password. Changed datasbase to purely password only, not key file which is recommended. Still no joy! Finally checked my keepassx v1 which was 0.4.3 build and latest is 0.4.4 so updated this and kerching it worked. Yessss - thank you! ### 5/5 — Updated and Wonderful *2017-10-14, version 2.0.2* The dreaded [DROPBOX ERROR / v1_retired] has been fixed. Relief!! PassDrop is one of my most used apps. I have depended on it to synch my database of IDs and passwords among all devices for years. Critical to security and access to hundreds of accounts and sites. I could not function online without it. For me this the most handy tool to access my KeePassX password database stored on DropBox. ### 5/5 — v1_retired error explanation *2017-10-11, version 2.0.1* This application uses the old v1 Dropbox API to talk to Dropbox. Dropbox has turned that API off as of 27 September 2017, so this application can no longer talk to Dropbox. The application has to be updated to talk to the new Dropbox v2 APIs before it will work again. I have used KeePass and PassDrop for many years. When IOS 11 would not let me open the old PassDrop app, I figured I was in for a hassle but PassDrop 2 saved the day. I just downloaded it today so I haven't really had time to notice any issues. It seemed to sync just fine to my existing database in Dropbox and I haven't noticed any missing data yet. Only thing I can't find is a way to donate to express my gratitude. I highly recommend this app to EVERYONE in this age of identity theft and computer hacking. I started using KeePass about 12 years ago on my pc after my bank account got hacked. Then discovered PassDrop for my iPhone, which works seamlessly with KeePass and syncs through DropBox. Recently I had been getting messages when opening the app on my phone, saying the developer needed to update, or the app would stop working... Enter Chad Austin! Now we have PassDrop 2 and it works great! Very happy:) Just one question Chad...How do you organize and move folders/files to different locations? Is it something I can do on my phone, or is it done somehow on my pc? In either case I don't have a clue how to go about it.
