The first, the QR code to get to the app didn’t work, but whatever. Then the app is way too basic and amateurish. Instructions for using, pairing, features? Simple written instructions. No pictures and no videos. So there’s things that don’t make sense that could easily be explained in a simple video or even a picture. There’s more, but that’s enough to get the picture. Logged out, deleted. ### 1/5 — Misleading and Unethical Business Practices *2025-02-20, version 3.11.73* I signed up for Passion.io with high hopes of building an app, paying $1,000 for a 6-month subscription. However, the platform proved far too complex and technically challenging for me, so I stopped using it after the first month. Without any prior notification or reminder, Passion.io automatically switched my plan to a $297 monthly renewal after the initial term ended. This lack of communication is extremely unethical, especially when charging a significantly higher rate without explicit consent. Customer support was unhelpful, citing policy as a reason for refusing a refund. It’s clear they rely on customers forgetting about subscriptions to profit unfairly. This practice feels deceptive and exploitative, especially for users like me who saw no value in the service and never received any meaningful benefit. If you’re considering signing up, be very cautious. Their approach to billing and lack of transparency is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this service to anyone. ### 1/5 — Save the frustration and use another platform *2025-02-14, version 3.11.73* At first it seems like a great app, and there is an ease of use for a very basic app. Half the pricing features didn’t work properly and getting into the store on your own ( without paying them a fairly high add on fee) was a pain. I made the mistake of paying for the year in advance so I was stuck with it. I cancelled in October to make sure I would not get charged again after year was up. This is part of the problem with the app. You have to manually cancel people’s membership for them. Then customers get mad because they have to wait for a refund. This is what is happening to me with their app. I sent an email, and talked to customer service to cancel months ago, and still got charged today for renewal. I knew this was going to happen. I usually never take my time to write poor reviews but I’m beyond frustrated.
