Just needs an Apple Watch companion app. This app saved me tons of grief and time when I recently bought a new phone. While testing out this app, I kept my old app too. My old app did not have the iCloud back up option, everything else but iCloud. I had it backed up to Dropbox and low and behold I had forgotten to write down the password to it AND my gmail account. I reloaded “Passlock” entered my pin and boom... all of my info was restored. FaceID/TouchID, online web support, and things you can add ranging from logins to drivers license and even 2FA. Passlock really offers the whole package, kinda crazy how it hasn’t exploded in popularity yet. Best of all, first 100k users get it free — forever. ### 4/5 — Best Password Manager *2019-12-06, version 1.10.0* Passlock is a really great password manager. I love how it stores data offline. Popular password managers have cloud storage and if a hacker successfully breaches cloud storage they can take off with many peoples accounts and passwords. But with the data being stored offline on your device it makes it much harder for your data to be compromised. While there isn’t cross platform yet like passlock on a computer which is the only complaint I have, but their time line states that it’s in the work. I also love having the favicon logos of the sites I sign into as opposed to a generic symbol. Myki is another offline password manager for $9.99 but you can’t assign icons. I think Passlock may be better Reviews are of the author’s opinion. What works for me may not always work for you. I invite you to try it. First 100,000 members get premium. Does not look great for future of the app’s longevity. Sounds like one guy doing this... and then he came back with a clueless response saying check the spam folder... and of course nothing is in there... **Developer response:** Hello again, It seems like there was an error with the messages. For privacy, reasons we wanted to answer on private emai but I will try to answer here. I understand your concern about iCloud safety and this why we have noted in our TO-DO list the option to export all the data from Passlock in 1 file and also to add more backup options like Google Drive, Dropbox and others. We do our best to make the best product and we will try to add all these features as soon as we can. At this moment we are working on import feature, this will allow users to add items from other passwords managers once we finish, we will start working on export. First it wasn’t allowing me to add new information to be saved, now it doesn’t auto fill my passwords. I bought this app for $3 back in 2019 but seems they have added a subscription. I’ve been trying to contact the developers but it’s imposible, their website doesn’t work, I can’t find an email address to write to, I even submitted a bug to see if the could help me fixed this problem. I’ve received no response or help. I guess i will just get all my data off this app and start using a different one. ☹️ ### 2/5 — Not Ready for Prime Time *2020-04-28, version 2.2.4* I was lucky to receive the Promo Version. I really liked the fact that Passlock uses Apple iCloud to secure the data. There is no question that Passlock has all the features a password manager needs. Except for one major feature I need to make the switch. Since I have 100+ passwords and other financial information to secure, it is imperative to be able to do a bulk data transfer from my current password manager to Passlock. Until that capability is provided I will be stuck using what I have. I do hope a future update offers that option soon.
