Works pretty well! *2023-01-30, version 1.4* I like how it automatically creates a 4x6 canvas with 2x2 shots on it! I wish that when it exports the 2x2 picture on its own that it would be in the original resolution instead of 600x600. Here, we want to use existing photos as opposed to snapping new photos with the app. 2. Background color is coming as gray even when I use 4200 lumen studio lights and hence could not use the PP photos. Went to Walgreens to have PP photos take professionally but all they did is lower a white screen in an aisle and use a very tiny Canon camera (so tiny it can fit in a fist or shirt pocket). Later I saw the guy filling background color with white using their application before printing copies because even their photos came with a gray background. And they charged $16 for 2 photos! So this is an issue everyone has. So we need a Fill tool to mark and fill/paint the grayish background with white. With the above two enhancements, this FREE app will be Golden !! ### 4/5 — No order confirmation but money was booked *2020-08-04, version 1.4* It has been almost 2 weeks without any reaction. Never got a confirmation but the money was booked. Update: finally the photos arrived. Provided that the delay was due to Covid-19 I changed my rating to 4 stars. ### 5/5 — Great app *2020-08-03, version 1.4* I needed to a passport style photo to submit a Form 1 to the ATF. My FFL needed an electronic copy, so I got it emailed to myself, then to them. Easy to use app and worked perfect. ### 1/5 — Photographs never received *2020-07-23, version 1.4* I used this app to take passport pictures. I completed the submission process and paid for a package of several photographs. After months of waiting, the photographs have not arrived and there has been no communication. ### 4/5 — Order lost in the ether - with no notification *2020-07-14, version 1.4* UPDATED: the developer did end up giving me a courtesy credit, which I appreciated. And the photos arrived about 10 days after ordering; they’re good quality. I do wonder about some of the other recent reviews though - some sound pretty canned (the one app I can’t live without? During the pandemic, when you can’t get out of this country if you wanted to?). But in the end, issues resolved and sure better than trying to DIY or go to the drugstore for a photo. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I put through several orders using the app but never got any kind of confirmation, so I finally emailed to see what was up. Two days later I got an email saying that their PayPal system was down and that I should make sure I wasn’t charged. I wasn’t, but when I requested to pay using a credit card I was told I had to start from scratch. So it’s now a week later, no photos are on the way, and I have to hang up another white sheet to stand in front of to do this all over again. Fail. Major fail. The app team did NOT offer a comp (despite the fact that their email signature insists they will make it right). And as far as I can tell, it’s still possible to pay using PayPal, which means others’ orders are going into oblivion as well. ### 5/5 — Picture *2020-06-27, version 1.4* Trying to figure out how to save the photo in my photo app on my iPad it says to right click to save but I assume you have to do that on a computer not an iPad? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iPad anymore *2026-08-21, version 1.4* All of a sudden it just keeps twirling when trying to click the save image button to either save or print. I’ve rebooted the iPad and I’ve also deleted and reinstalled the app. The support link for the app doesn’t work either, just goes to an invalid webpage. ### 1/5 — Good try *2023-08-18, version 1.4* The app in the way you take a picture is incredibly simple and fast. The problem is when you try to order prints of the picture you just took the app just freezes displaying a wait spinning circle and it essentially freezes and does nothing after that. I don’t know what the problem is, but I wish that developer would fix it as this app is probably one of the easiest wants to use. Now I am forced to use another app to try to get the passport pictures done because I just can’t wait around for a developer to fix a defective app. ### 1/5 — Rejected by Ireland *2023-04-07, version 1.4* Passport Online for passport application to Ireland rejected every digital image I submitted using this app. Multiple attempts, all rejected as “too close” or “too far away .”For Ireland digital photos cannot be cropped, enlarged, enhanced or changed IN ANY WAY. First time using it, I was the sample case of my large family to test this app so we could all renew our passports, and this has been a very failed test, with no updates at any time in 2 weeks! My appointment tomorrow at the city office to renew, which took me 3 weeks to get, has left me with no choice but to get the pics the old fashioned way, which involves being around too many people, in order to get new pics done, and of course pay for additional pics tomorrow. Thank you so much for wasting my time and money. I would definitely choose a better option for anyone who can’t wait who knows how long for this “easy hands off service “. I’ve done several renewals for me and friends and never had an issue. Still look at the state department guide to know lighting rules but this is a great app. ### 5/5 — Best Passport Photo App *2026-02-01, version 1.4* I have children and taking pictures of babies and young children for their US Passports is so easy with this app. If you’ve ever tried to get passport baby pictures of your child, you know the struggle is real. It has a guide and you are able to take the picture and save it to your phone. You can print it at home or send it to a photo printer service. I have used this for the past five years and am grateful for this app in making taking passport photos of my children so easy.
