But the last 2-3 months, I believe it’s related to the MacOS updates, some of the basic functionality isn’t working as expected. For instance I can’t authorise in my MAC APP with Touch ID, the relevant setting parameter is just not clickable!! The same with the icon «+» when you want to add a new record with passwords or other info. It’s not working! On the web and iOS everything is ok. I’ve highlighted that issue to support, but they said to me that they acknowledged and can’t provide the ETA when it will be fixed! It is not a client-oriented approach! I've started looking for another password store app. ### 4/5 — Cigar dropped recently *2025-12-04* “Close but no cigar” applies here, but only because their macOS app really doesn’t work very well since Apple brought out Tahoe (26). You can no longer add or edit any entries. I've asked several times and it's still "coming soon". ### 4/5 — Great Overall app *2023-07-09, version 3.1.0* The only thing stopping me for giving 5 stars is the unlock with touch id Feature. It reset every 2 weeks or so, and I need to manually go to settings and check the "Unlock with touch Id", for this to work I need to retype the master password. After several months using this app I get mad everytime I need to reconfigure this. PLEASE FIX IT ### 4/5 — Great Password Manager *2023-03-31* Works as expected and does it's job well with plenty of applications available for all the platforms I need. The only thing I would ask for is an offline use mode if possible as I have required a password from my device on a few odd occations but my device did not have signal to load. **Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to rate the app. Your suggestion is noted, we will keep working hard to improve the app, stay tuned for the updates. ### 1/5 — Problems across the board *2023-03-21* I downloaded the app. It crashes repeatedly. I sent a message to customer service and they told me to download the latest version. I just downloaded that very same version two days earlier. So, no resolutoin. I can't keep the thing running because it is constantly crashing on me. Then, I am in the trial subscription and use multiple devices as well as Passwarden & VPN Unlimited. Nothing communicates with each other and I cannot really use, nor actually try, anything. They all say that my subscription is expired. I'm in the trial subscription in one app but, it does not communicate effectively with the other apps. Simply, I do not trust this app, the software, nor the company. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear about your poor experience. Most Password managers offer this as part of the desktop app or as part of the initial fee! I will have to keep my previous Password manager for now. ### 1/5 — Does not work as advertised *2023-02-21, version 3.1.0* Hoped to replace another password manager but this does not work as expected. I find the unlock function is constantly being called, even when all instances are set to never lock. I also find that the tool doesn't "see" URLs correctly and I have to manually upen the desktop instance THEN lookup the URL I want, THEN pull those creds and insert into fields. ### 4/5 — Best Password Manager App So Far... *2023-02-04, version 3.0.4* The password manager is undoubtedly the best for security. It is impossible to remember all passwords, especially if they are high-security and must be changed frequently for financial and business institutions. This program is free of any problems or worries. It is easy to access, edit, add, and delete this program, especially when using an iPhone. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Read only App for macOS *2026-07-10* The interface is totally blocked : No setup option, no possibility to add Password… You can only read your password. No plan to solve it from the support. ### 1/5 — Perfect several releases back *2026-06-14, version 3.1.0* The app is just broken now, you can’t edit nor add new passwords. The icons are unclickable and unresponsive.I gave this a 5 a while back, but the latest release was 3 years ago. It broke at some macOS version several months ago. AI is telling me the app was build using SDK 13.0, which corresponds to macOS 13 Ventura, and is indicating the app is outdated. I installed this on another Mac just to see if it was my computer, it behaved exactly the same. Thats a very shady and despicable way to retain customers. Hostile. “Developers”, “claim” that it’s in “the works”, but have no timeline. They’ve been claiming this for years. Either they’re the worlds worst, laziest, or fakest developers in the world, or it’s a fully intentional (lack of) effort to make it exceptionally difficult for customers to move on to better more friendly software. What a joke. Also other improvements would be nice I am sure they will imporve it over time. Storing passwords is simple, and syncing between devices works flawlessly. The UI can get a little weird, but I'm on a two-year-old device.
