Amazing app, the best for privacy

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review!

### 5/5 — Effective, privacy-focused password manager

*2025-11-19*

I’ve been using their 2FAS Authentication app for years and love it. I recently found out they created a password manager and had to try it. First off, I really appreciate the focus of my data being local. I trust a password manager that stores my data locally more than on some server somewhere. Secondly, the app is easy to use and straightforward. I didn’t have any major hurdles to get used to their layout. Setup was also a breeze and didn’t require to create an account. It only needs a master password. Overall, great start and looking forward to seeing what the future brings for this password manager.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review and feedback! We're glad to hear that our vision of password management resonates with others!

### 5/5 — Awsome

Awsome product

**Developer response:** Thank you! We appreciate it greatly!

### 4/5 — Great, but feature offering needs a bit of work

*2025-10-04*

Having several hundred items stored in other top pass managers which support unlimited logins for free, unfortunately I am not able to use 2FAS Pass in the same manner without a subscription. I think opening up to allowing unlimited items for all users would greatly help 2FAS take a larger chunk of market share from other top competing password managers.

To be more appealing, unlimited items for all would be preferable as an individual user, with IAP for advanced options.

I understand that 2FAS requires consistent revenue to support development, but when other top choices (Bitwarden, Proton) offer much more at no cost, it makes 2FAS Pass a tougher sell. For me currently, the subscription feels more a requirement than a means of support. Nonetheless, I am a subscriber and look forward to seeing 2FAS Pass become the best local-first password manager!

**Developer response:** We hear you and agree with you. Our end goal is to make the B2C ver of the app more free for end users, while shifting the revenue entirely to B2B. As we continue developing new features, we're expanding what is available for free, with the long-term goal to getting it where we want to be.

At this stage we treat it as support for the project and we're really grateful for every support we receive!

### 5/5 — A good one

*2025-09-23*

If you like to stay in control this one does the job

**Developer response:** Thank you! We appreciate the review and recommendation.

### 5/5 — Super secure app

*2025-08-28*

Top Secret mode is the best on the market

**Developer response:** Vielen Dank für die Bewertung! We're glad to hear you like it 😁

### 5/5 — Best for power users

*2025-07-29*

Great tool, but unfortunately only for power users. Please add categories and credit cards.

**Developer response:** Hi Thomas, we're already working on that, as one of the priorities. Thanks for the feedback!

### 1/5 — Bait and switch

*2026-07-30*

I tried switching to the 2FAS Pass password manager because I use their 2-factor authenticator app and like it, but I feel deceived that I cannot add more than 200 passwords without subscribing. There is no infrastructure cost to them for me to host and store my own passwords, and they did not advertise this limitation upfront. I feel deceived that I imported my data and started using it, only to encounter this issue.

Worse yet, it is a subscription.

I would be happy to pay a one-time fee to use the app, or even a subscription fee paywall for a sync feature. But handicapping the password manager so deceitfully rubs me the wrong way so badly that I am discouraged from using any of their products, for fear of getting invested in the ecosystem and bait and switched again.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review and feedback.

### 1/5 — Very Disappointing 😡😡

*2026-05-07*

Very bad app, I downloaded it done everything it said then came out of the app and tried to go back on it but it wouldn’t let me go on it, it kept closing I checked the App Store in case it needed an update but nothing, disappointing 👎👎👎👎👎👎

**Developer response:** Hi, could you tell us more about what exactly happens when you're trying to enter the app?
Additionally, what was the last screen you saw before you closed the app?

### 1/5 — Worst app ever not recommend it to anyone

*2026-04-10*

Very bad and useless service

**Developer response:** Hi, could you tell us more about the parts of the app that didn't work for you?

### 2/5 — Hmmmm

*2026-01-22*

Not sure if maybe I’m doing something wrong, but I’ve just got everything going and am unable to add a password into the manager. Not even an uninstall and reinstall fixed it.

**Developer response:** Hi there, could you tell us what happens when you try to add an Item to the app?

### 3/5 — An interesting product

*2025-09-06*

It is not as clean and easy to use as 2FAS Auth or Bitwarden. I gave it a solid test for 7 days and went back to Bitwarden since it is easier to use and recover.

**Developer response:** Thank you for giving us a chance nonetheless! We hope that you'll give us another one once we add things that you'd like to see!

### 4/5 — Great App, Missing Features

*2026-06-25*

I love the ethos and design that go into the 2FAS apps. Unfortunately the elephant in the room is no Passkey support, meaning I still have to juggle multiple vaults. Once they support Passkeys I can consider moving to this app long-term.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! Passkeys are planned and will be coming to the app in the future.

### 4/5 — Fast der perfekte Passwortmanager

*2026-06-20*

Passkeys are planned and are coming to the app in the future.

### 4/5 — Passkeys.

*2026-05-15*

Only need passkeys and then I am ready to switch over from 1password.

Thanks for the slick app!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. Passkeys are already on our roadmap!

### 4/5 — Scheint gut zu sein, aber…

*2026-04-29*

**Developer response:** The German language is coming this month. Stay tuned!

### 4/5 — Prometteur, à voir à l'usage.

*2026-04-27*

On verra à l'usage.

We plan to introduce French in the future in cooperation with our Discord community. If you'd like to help, please join!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good App

*2026-08-15*

It has a very streamlined feel to it. When you click around it’s very fast, no lag I noticed. Simple layout, but in a good way, I can see everything and get what I need fast. I really like look and feel of it. I hope they always keep a free version available.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review! A free version will always be available, and over time it'll be expanded to include even more features.

### 5/5 — Schick und ohne Kontozwang

*2026-07-20*

**Developer response:** Thank you for the in-depth feedback! Some of the features you mentioned are already planned, and I'll share the rest with the team.

Vielen Dank!

### 5/5 — Simple

*2026-06-20*

I like that my passwords stay on my phone and I am not forced to use a cloud service. Great app!

**Developer response:** Thank you! We appreciate it greatly!

### 5/5 — All in all a good and simple password manager

*2026-06-08*

The app has a wonderful design as well as nice and fast and is deeply integrated into iOS. Plus points are definitely the price that the app is open source and that you can choose yourself how the data is synchronised. However, I still want support for 2FA codes (I know that there is an extra app for that, but would find it cooler if they also had a place in the password manager). These could then also be filled in automatically. I also want Passkey support, it's just the modern standard.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback!
Passkey support is already planned and will be implemented in the future.
As for 2FA codes, we believe that keeping 2FA and passwords separate is the best course of action, as it's a safer solution and limits the possibilities of unwanted data access.

### 5/5 — passkey support

*2026-05-06*

When do you plan to support pass keys support?

**Developer response:** Hi, we have them planned and researched, but currently, we do not have an exact eta on when they'll be added.

Thank you for the review!

### 5/5 — Good, fast and privacy focused

*2026-04-09*

I am a paying customer and feel that the subscription fee is worth every penny. I use this app to manage my passwords and 2FAS Auth for TOTP codes.

I wish it allowed the storing of Identity entries the way Bitwarden does. Right now there are Passwords, Secure Notes, WiFi, and Credit Cards as entry options. But no way to store your name and address for easy autofill.

This app allows backup file exporting for disaster recovery. It also has seamless exporting to Apple Passwords.

**Developer response:** Hi, we're planning to add both Identity and CSV export option in future updates.
As for our current export option, it's a json file with a changed name to make it easier to identify. If other password managers add compatibility for our file (as has to be done with every json file), they will be able to import it there.

### 5/5 — Good App. Easy to use and fast

### 5/5 — Update

*2026-03-09*

Hope to add multilingual support and passkeys soon.

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for the review!
Both of those are planned for the future.

### 5/5 — Works very well

*2026-02-24*

I use this app to manage my passwords and the 2FAS Auth app for TOTP codes. These are amazing apps. It syncs perfectly width all of my iOS devices and works with my web browsers on my workstations.

I wish it allowed the storing of Identity the way Bitwarden does. Right now there are Passwords, Secure Notes and Credit Cards as entry options. But no way to store your name and address for easy autofill.

This app also needs to allow exporting to CSV files. Currently the only export option is to their proprietary format, locking you into this service.

**Developer response:** Thank you for giving us a chance nonetheless! We hope that you'll give us another one once we add things that you'd like to see!

### 5/5 — Beautiful UI, missing access keys

*2026-02-16*

Hi guys, your app is amazing! We are waiting for access key implementation

**Developer response:** Merci pour votre commentaire !
