## What is Passwords Inspector?

Access the complete password rules database as used by Apple Keychain.

• Detailed, per domain breakdown of length and character requirements for passwords
• List domains where your passwords are shared between
• List apps with access to password autofill for unassociated domains
• View changes to domains and see where your passwords have been moved to
• Direct links to the change password page of websites to quickly improve your security
• See domains where password-saving prompts are suppressed when embedded

### 1.1 — 2026-06-29

Features:
• A new ‘Historical’ section in the Shared Credentials view for formerly-affiliated domains where password reuse warnings are suppressed.
• A new ‘Embedded Third-Party’ page for suppressing password-saving prompts on embedded domains.
• A new ‘App ID Credentials’ page for showing domains sharing password autofill with apps where the domain is not associated with the app.
• Cache content and fetch fresh data in the background, updating asynchronously if the cached response is older.
• Use the Google favicon API (by default with a setting to disable it).
• Remember and restore the selected category between app launches.
