I’ve tried others, but this is still the best and most practical. One tiny issue. When open the app and use it. It’s fine. If I push it to background and don’t close it completely. Then select the app icon to open. Without bring from background. It opens with a blank screen format. To fix I have to completely close app. Including wiping off back ground. All of a sudden, about 6 months ago , it stopped syncing across my devices so my passwords are not being updated. All work well and synchronize with each other. (2) disappointments: The user interface is noticeably different across the platforms. The last update was a year ago. Thank you DataViz! *2015-06-26, version 3.002* I'm one of DataViz's legacy accounts—been using Passwords Plus from its humble beginnings back in my Palm Treo days, watched it evolve over the years, use it regularly, & recommend it often. I'm glad that DV fixed the problem of ads popping up in the paid version—major faux pas & possible security problem. Excellent product. I just wish there was a timely way to contact DV when necessary... ### 4/5 — Works as advertised *2013-12-10, version 2.006* I use this on several devices: OS X, IOS, and Win 7 & 8. I have noticed that IOS multi-tasking keeps apps open until they are explicitly closed using double-click and swipe - with this app you should either double-click and swipe, or if you want to keep the app open press the lock icon in the app to hide password contents. The only sync issue I've had is with OS X, and was due to the Intego firewall. To sync in that context you need to disable the firewall while syncing. With those guidelines, the app maintains my database cleanly and syncs quickly across all devices whenever a change is made. Customer service told me to reinstall on my pc, then delete docs to go on my pc, then go to the app store and reinstall, which is impossible since it's already installed. If i delete i lose data it took me hours to load. All i get from cust service is nonsense. Get this fixed !!!!! ### 1/5 — Can Not Be Trusted With Your Data! *2016-06-21, version 3.002* I've used this on my PC for over ten years and it's always been one of the very first programs I reinstalled after reinstalling Windows. The idea of syncing with iPhone is a good one and I installed this and planned to buy the new PC version and see if it would restore my password data base and if I liked it before purchasing this iOS version. As I was going over settings, I clicked on "restore purchase" checking to see if other version was in their system and to be sure I had not bought this before. I was prompted to enter my Apple ID of course but as soon as I did, the message changed to "Thank you for your purchase." THAT IS FRAUD. I DID NOT CHECK TO BUY THIS JUST YET. THEN IT GETS WORSE: as I am looking over this page, I see for the very first time the information that the charges will have to be paid over and over again every year to prevent ads in my face. This again is second incident of FRAUD by these people (Data Viz). The yearly cost to keep away ads should have bern disclosed before this. And I should not have been charged for this app without consent by pressing to purchase. This is the biggest scam I've yet encountered at the app store. Of course after this sleaziness I do not trust Data Viz with my data. This will certainly be featured on my Pinterest blog as soon as I confirm that my credit card was charged. Hopefully widespread exposure will prevent others from being scammed by these people. ### 1/5 — Zero Stars if only possible *2015-05-10, version 3.001* ADs in the paid version after 1 year!!!! Seriously DataViz?!?!? The iOS version has never been all that great and version 3 isn't that great either, but I stuck with it because I have been a very long-term, dedicated user of this application from the Palm days (>10 years) and have used it on both PC and Mac architectures. But now that the ads have popped up, it's going to be deleted as soon as I can get everything moved over to a permanent ad-free app on all devices. And shame on you for not disclosing on your website (in an obvious place) that the app (at some point in time) includes ads. DataViz, you've just lost a very loyal customer. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Reliable works across all of my devices *2021-02-28, version 4.001* I purchased this app years ago and it has grown with me as my devices expanded. I have the premium version and it just keeps on trucking down the road. Now that I am married, we keep all of our passwords within the app and are able to easily share. No bells or whistles, just dependable. A future enhancement would be sync safari passwords with it. Namaste 🙏 ### 5/5 — Great Password App...No Face ID? *2020-11-12, version 4.001* I’ve used Passwords+ for years now. And love how it syncs across devices and keeps my passwords secure. Prior to the latest update of iOS on my IPad Pro, I was able to use Face ID to access the app, with password prompts after a certain point. But after the update to IPad OS 14.2, the app crashed when I attempted to open it. It would start and abruptly close. I deleted the app and reinstalled. And noticed while there’s accessibility for Touch ID indicated in the settings, there’s not FaceID option. Not sure if there ever was. Maybe IPad OS was just using Face ID to login independently. Either way no Face ID now. But...the app works fine otherwise and still feels as safe and secure as ever. Maybe more so...without Face ID. It’s a hassle to have to type my password each time to access it, but if it’s a hassle for me, it’ll be an equally annoying fly in the ointment for anyone trying to hack it. 😉 ### 5/5 — One of the best! *2020-01-16, version 4.001* I have been using this app for several years and have never had any major issues. I read where people complain that when they delete the app to reinstall it they lose all of their data, NOT TRUE. All data if set up properly will be in the cloud. It also will sync with all of your other devices, including your computers running Windows because you can get the app for it also. I have nothing but praise for this app. I would however like to see the possibility to save pictures of credit cards, ID’s, documents etc. , but this app is more than perfect as is & has performed perfectly for me for many years. It’s not constantly gumming up your browser and apps trying to insert passwords and it works seamlessly across your phone and laptop to keep track of passwords , bank account numbers etc. I bought it 3 years ago and once a year there’s a glitch and customer service responds within the promised 1 day time frame. If you use any device, whether it is a computer, tablet or phone this program is so useful because you can easily keep track of any passwords or serial numbers of any type or description. Once you enter any new info into the program, it automatically updates the data on all your other devices. I recently had a major problem, and I found the tech support to be outstanding and got it resolved. I have used this program for several years and I would be lost without it. Ignore my previous review, they are now spamming with ads in the paid for app on iPhone and Ipad. A lesson in how to go from 5 stars to 0 in one day. I have used this daily on my PALM for 10.5 years. The iPhone version works better than the Palm version. The PC helper with password creation is a real boost to sercuity, no more easy to guess passwords for rarely usew web sites.
