### 3/5 — It's okay.

*2023-05-16, version 2.0.1*

It's light entertainment, albeit very short. It's no literary masterpiece, but it's a fun little time filler. What bothers me most is the many missing quotation marks. Please proofread and fix; it is simple and relatively fast to do, so there's really no excuse for this.

### 4/5 — Interesting and fun

*2020-09-21, version 2.0.1*

It is a little short, I’d like more choices. The graphics are very nice. I shut off the music, it was not necessary to my enjoyment of the game. I’ve only gone through it once, so interested how different choices may affect the story.

### 4/5 — Past mistakes

Would have like more. More of everything. It was fun

Good story, interesting ideas throughout.

*2018-04-16, version 2.0.1*

Entertaining.

### 3/5 — Really?

*2018-04-15, version 2.0.1*

Interesting story but way too short and really?...a baby from the past brought to the future to be raised by a nice family would’ve worked too...just saying...

### 4/5 — Nice quick read

*2017-12-24, version 2.0.1*

A nice short story without a paradox. Good background sounds too.

### 4/5 — Good

*2017-10-24, version 2.0.1*

Nice story

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Past mistakes

*2020-05-04, version 2.0.1*

I like the game but it played fine until I made the choice for Collins to open the container and then the screen turned black and went blank so I shut it down and rebooted my iPad thinking that would fix the problem but instead now it just sits on the main page with no sound and doesn’t do anything and won’t go back to the story or anything else! It just stays where it’s at if I can’t play the game what’s the point in keeping it?

### 1/5 — Terrible book

*2019-06-21, version 2.0.1*

Time wasted, it is just a lame time travel story

### 1/5 — Doesn't work

*2018-04-07, version 2.0.1*

Crashes immediately upon opening on an iPhone 5, iOS 10.3.3

### 1/5 — Could be MUCH better

*2018-01-29, version 2.0.1*

Storylines are very short. Just as it starts to get interesting, the story ends abruptly, and changing your choices has relatively little effect on the storyline. On multiple playthroughs with different choices selected, I only discovered three different endings, all quite grim. Additionally, there are very few choices in total per storyline. Interesting world building, competent graphics and sound, but falls far short of its potential. I would say the writing and short length are its main downfalls.

Additionally, once you complete a main storyline, the app is overly insistent in asking for a 5-star review, to the extent you have to click 'No' on three increasingly pointed screens before it will accept your response. Not cool.

### 1/5 — boring

*2018-01-25, version 2.0.1*

would've preferred graphics/video - not just long pages of dialogue that went on for too long and a more interesting storyline..

### 1/5 — Immediately crashes

*2017-12-21, version 2.0.1*

Open the app, it crashes. Deleted, reinstalled. Same problem.

### 2/5 — Good app, poor story

*2019-07-03, version 2.0.1*

First things first: the story is very weak. I would have given only 1 star, but the concept was okay, and the app itself worked as promised. When you are asked to make a choice in the story you have an opportunity to change your mind, which I appreciated.

### 2/5 — Needs A Copyeditoe

*2018-04-09, version 2.0.1*

This might be good, but the author needs a good copyeditor. There are too many awkward sentences and other structural issues. I simply got tired of trying to follow it and quit.

### 2/5 — Meh

*2018-01-15, version 2.0.1*

The concept is good. The mechanics are fine. The writing was terrible.

### 2/5 — Decent app, no glitches

*2017-12-10, version 2.0.1*

Good artwork, but lame book. Glad it was short.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Just fun!

*2023-10-03, version 2.0.1*

This is a clever idea and the first story was written well enough to keep my attention and didn’t suffer from the malaise that the original CYOA books of the 80’s were plagued with.

### 5/5 — Liked it

*2018-07-23, version 2.0.1*

Liked it.

### 5/5 — Short

*2018-06-27, version 2.0.1*

A great story, and creative endings, but it would be much better if it was longer.

### 5/5 — Captivating

*2018-04-29, version 2.0.1*

Reminiscent of the PBS “Dr. Who” series. Great depth in the story but as others have said .. comes to an ending too soon
I will read it with different options and see how things change but it will likely still be very short.
Good job on the story line.

### 5/5 — Enjoyed

*2018-03-09, version 2.0.1*

It’s a short story but it’s awesome

### 5/5 — Nice story

*2017-12-07, version 2.0.1*

### 5/5 — Good story

### 5/5 — More!!!!!!

*2017-09-06, version 2.0.1*

Great job!!!
