Ich freue mich jeden Tag auf das kleine Rätsel und spiele es in der leichteren Variante (also mit den ‚zu früh/zu spät-Hinweisen‘), damit ich auch bei den Regionen, in denen ich mich nicht auskenne (zB Asien) Erfolgserlebnisse habe ;-) Sehr gut gefallen mir auch die Hinweise zum Nachlesen (oder zu Podcasts), die ich gern bei Themen nutze, von denen ich nur wenig Ahnung habe.
Die Vollversion kann ich mir leider nicht leisten - aber wie wäre es denn mit einer Version, die 1€ im Monat kostet, damit die Zukunft von PP gesichert ist? Da wäre ich dabei😊

Die Idee finde ich gut und das Spiel macht Spaß. 
Ich wollte Past Puzzle nach meinem Abo-Abschluss verschenken. Leider ist das wohl über die App nicht möglich und geht nur über den Browser. Was sich bei meinem Privacy-Browser schwieriger gestaltete als gedacht. Auf meine Beschwerde hat mich der Entwickler umgehend kontaktiert. Das Problem konnte gelöst werden. Also gib‘s dann jetzt auch volle Punkte.

**Developer response:** Danke für dein Feedback und deine Geduld. Das Zurücksetzen des Passworts hatte aufgrund eines Privacy-Browsers nicht funktioniert und ist inzwischen gelöst. Das hatte an sich nichts mit der App zu tun, kann aber passieren.

Es würde mich freuen, wenn dir das Spiel weiterhin Freude bereitet!

Einfach, schnell, und etwas lehrreich…schade, dass es keine Statistik gibt. Und ich habe keine Ahnung, was die Punkte bedeuten…

**Developer response:** Hi, direkt nach der Auflösung erscheint deine Statistik. Dort siehst du, wie oft du das Past Puzzle im ersten, zweiten, dritten oder vierten Versuch gelöst hast. Für Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer ist im Statistik-Menü außerdem ersichtlich, wie oft sie das Rätsel nicht gelöst haben.

Meinst du mit Punkten das, was beim Teilen des Ergebnisses am Ende jeder Zeile steht? Das ist die Differenz deiner geschätzten Jahreszahl zum gesuchten Jahr und zeigt an, wie nah du der Lösung warst!

Ein spaßiges Spiel, ich bin erst kürzlich in einer (älteren) Folge von Geschichten aus der Geschichte darauf gestoßen. Nachdem ich zwei oder drei Rätsel gelöst habe wurde mir vorgeschlagen die App zu nutzen und ich dachte mir: Warum nicht?
Das Spiel an sich ist im Grunde wie Wordle, nur mit Jahreszahlen und einer Quizkomponente. Vier Tipps, vier Versuche und wenn man die richtige Zahl erraten hat (oder nicht), bekommt man noch Vorschläge, wo man zu den einzelnen Hinweisen mehr erfahren kann. Klingt jetzt vielleicht nicht spektakulär, aber ich finde es super.

Wo findet man das heutzutage noch? Keine Werbung, kein Abo. Einfach ein Entwickler mit seinem Herzensanliegen. Macht Spaß, erweitert nicht nur Kenntnisse in Geschichte, sondern auch in Technik. 
Jeden Morgen gespielt und dann auf social media gucken, wie sich die anderen geschlagen haben.

Es wird schnell zur täglichen Gewohnheit, das Pastpuzzle zu lösen und das eigene Geschichtswissen zu testen. Auf Mastodon hat es sich inzwischen zu einem kleinen Kult entwickelt. Die ansprechend teilbaren Ergebnisse, ohne Spoiler, sorgen dafür, dass man mit andere zusammen feiern kann, wenn es beim ersten Versuch geklappt hat.
