## What is PastePlate?

The only app where ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or DeepSeek writes your day, week and month reports.

PastePlate runs no cloud coach of its own and has no API connection to your chat. No tokens billed by us, no background calls. The app copies prompts; you paste into your own chat (browser or app). Your logbook stays local on your iPhone or iPad. Works with your existing subscription, including free tiers at Gemini, Claude, Grok and DeepSeek. We never pass on chat usage fees. Not an official app of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or xAI.

Calorie apps give charts. PastePlate gives personally written coach reports from your chat: structured and saved word for word in your logbook.

YOUR NUTRITION. YOUR PERSONAL GOALS. YOUR AI COACH.

After each meal you get more than numbers. Your coach explains what your choice means for your day: macros, satiety, fat quality, plant variety. You see your daily progress vs. your goal. Targeted feedback after every meal; at the end of the day, week and month the same coach zooms out to full reports.

OPTIONAL LONGEVITY MODE
Turn it on in your profile for a plant diversity focus inspired by the American Gut Project: 30 unique plants per week via a strict 15-category protocol. PastePlate counts unique plants automatically. In week view you see your progress (e.g. 40 / 30); in the plant explorer you see which species you logged and which categories are still empty. Your coach receives what's already in your logbook this week and steers toward new plants instead of repeats. With Longevity on, chat and reports also focus on fat quality (more unsaturated, 0 g trans fat) and fibre.

THE SAME SECTIONS IN DAY, WEEK AND MONTH REPORTS
Your coach zooms out: today, past week, full month.

Personal goal
Themes from your coach note: meals, timing and how you felt; patterns across days, weeks or months.

Weight status
Weigh-in vs. previous reading and target weight; trend and distance to goal.

Body context
BMI, FFMI and body fat % from measurements.

Calories and protein
Energy balance and protein vs. goal.

Fluid intake
Logged ml vs. goal; tips when drinks were missing.

Protein and satiety
Protein spread across the day or recurring patterns; link with hunger.

Daily total and nutrition analysis
Macro overview and intake vs. goals.

Longevity and plant variety
With Longevity on: unique plants, 15-category progress and week goal.

Food quality
Fat balance, fibre and processing level; trend over the period.

Behaviour and patterns
Eating behaviour: timing, snacking, weekend vs. weekdays.

Your wins and what went well
Concrete food or drink choices in the period.

Growth opportunities
Learning moments about meals or timing.

Next steps
Max. 3 actions: for tomorrow, next week or next month.

Personal coach note (optional): one free-text field at setup. Allergies, shift work, histamine sensitivity, or questions like "Why am I exhausted every afternoon?" Your coach writes Personal goal from your themes.

How it works:
1. Start your coach from the app (copy paste, no API)
2. Log meals in chat: feedback per meal + report when you want
3. Paste it back into PastePlate

Health information and sources
PastePlate shows general nutrition insights, not medical advice. Open Health sources in the app menu for WHO and other references behind the norms in the app.

Also in the app: daily logbook, weekly menu, shopping list, smartwatch burn, plant explorer, on-device backup, 14 languages.

7-day free trial, then €8.99/month or €79.99/year via the App Store. Cancel in Apple ID settings. Chat subscription separate. PastePlate adds no chat fees.

Food diary with personal coaching, not medical advice.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-05

The Bram VanK Case

Meals that looked lost were usually still in the chat. The likely cause was the coach prompt itself: it could write a shorter meal list than the chat already had. That path is now fixed.

When the coach sends your data it must look back through the full chat and rebuild the meal list from what you logged, not from a shorter stored snapshot.

When you ask for coach data, the app reads Apple Health again so your watch burn stays consistent.

Import still names any meals that look missing. You can import anyway and add them yourself, or ask the coach for a corrected block. That is the backup, not the first line of defence.

Import warns you if a whole day would lose meals. You can skip that day or import the rest.

Your confirmed daily burn will not drop silently on import.

Your burn total is shown more clearly when you request data, without misleading partial figures.

Requesting data again on the same day will not add a second baseline to your burn.

Other improvements

The coach now detects a meal count mismatch before sending data. It first reconstructs the list silently from the chat. Only if that still fails does it stop and ask you. No data block until you choose.

A real logged meal is no longer left out just because some numbers went missing. When the day total and the other meals are still known, the coach can reconstruct the missing figures from what remains.

Mark a fasting day on the day circle. No full export needed; the day still counts in your week and month energy balance.

After each meal your day summary is easier to read, with a clear expenditure bar against your plan.

Your welcome message shows confirmed watch burn when Apple Health already has a figure for that day.

The start prompt and sync now use the same expenditure figure, so an empty day no longer shows zero burn when your watch already logged activity.

Coach data from another day stops with both dates shown. No silent mix.

Day totals match your meals. Numbers are not quietly recalculated at export.

Week and month reports only on a real closing day, not because the calendar looks close. Weight and measurements are included when you request data.

The required drink follow up after a meal analysis is still allowed when hydration tracking is on.

Clearer water intake labels in reports, without overlapping status words.

Forgotten drinks count as zero logged water, not as unknown.

When your week menu already covers your plant goal, the coach no longer skips plant guidance for that reason alone.

The coach stays on food, drink and your day log. Off topic requests are declined. No generated images.

Deleting a meal updates stored report energy figures and warns you when a report would be affected.

Daily backup is on by default. Import sits in the day plus menu.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-24

Health sync: smarter total steps.

New step mode: Watch only or Smart merge.
Watch + phone without double counting, your true daily total.
Optionally include missed steps when exporting burn data.

### 1.0.1. — 2026-08-20

Clearer setup, water tracking and coach style.

• Water tracking is on by default during setup, with a 30 ml per kg suggestion (max. 3 litres). You can change it anytime.
• Coach style now shows a short explanation under your choice. Motivator stays high-energy with emoji, but the exact numbers stay in, just like Default.
• Asking for data now defaults to today. Change this in My AI coach.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-18
