## What is Pasthrough?

Pasthrough is the complete travel toolkit — plan trips with AI, journal every place you've been, track your travel stats, and share itineraries with companions. All on one beautiful map you'll come back to in five years.

ATLAS AI — YOUR TRIP COMPANION
Atlas builds full day-by-day itineraries from a few prompts: real venues, walking distances between stops, opening hours, and food breaks tucked into the right gaps. Then it stays available throughout your trip — chat with Atlas to ask anything about where you're going, swap an activity, or rebuild a day on the fly.

A TRAVEL JOURNAL THAT STAYS WITH YOU
Drop a pin every place you visit. Rate it, write a few words, add photos. Tag by mood (loved it, liked it, meh) and theme (food, nature, hidden gem). Your personal map fills in over years, becoming a visual record of every city, country, and corner you've explored.

PLAN EVERY DETAIL OF EVERY TRIP
Day-by-day itinerary with weather forecasts, opening hours, ticket prices, and one-tap Apple Maps directions. Timeline view shows the gaps between activities, and the Bookings tab holds your flights, hotels, and trains — all auto-linked to the matching day. Smart packing list with AI suggestions. Trip budget with automatic currency conversion.

TRAVEL TOGETHER
Invite travel partners with one tap. Everyone sees the full plan, adds notes, marks items complete, and splits expenses fairly. Whoever pays for dinner enters it once — Pasthrough handles the math.

TRACK YOUR JOURNEY
Watch your stats grow: countries visited, cities mapped, days on the road, year-by-year breakdown. Set goals — visit 30 countries by 30, hit every continent, return to your favorites. Get a year-end recap card you can share.

SHARE WHAT'S YOURS
Curated lists ("My favorite cafes in Lisbon", "Hidden hikes near Vienna") that friends can browse. A social feed that follows your travel circle without ever showing you ads. Per-place privacy controls, per-trip too — share only what you want to share.

BUILT WITH PRIVACY IN MIND
No ad tracking. No IDFA. No selling your location to third parties. Sign in with Apple to keep your email completely private. Delete your account from inside the app in two taps — everything goes, no questions asked.

NOW IN FOUR LANGUAGES
Pasthrough is fully localized in English, Turkish, German, and Spanish — UI, AI replies, notifications, and search all respect your language. Switch in Settings or let the app follow your device locale.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.6 — 2026-07-07

New in 1.4.6

- Small fix for the Add Activity form so times can be set again.
- Minor polish and stability improvements.

### 1.4.5 — 2026-07-05

New in 1.4.5

- Weather chips on your day headers now show up reliably, even on trips that stretch past the free forecast window — the days that are in range get their forecast, the rest stay clean
- Trip stats no longer show a phantom distant city when an activity name happens to match somewhere else in the world. A "Trastevere walk" on your Rome trip stays a Rome walk
- The Plan tab's visa info panel now finishes loading on multi-country trips instead of spinning forever
- Day header on Plan tab reads cleaner — the city only shows in the chip row underneath, not repeated inline
- Discover only shows travelers you don't already follow, so the Follow button is always the useful action
- Bookings tab no longer crashes if a booking carries an old status value from an earlier version
- Timeline no longer crashes on places tagged with a mood that's since been retired
- Settings toggles now surface an alert if the change couldn't be saved, instead of quietly reverting the next time you launch the app
- Feed like and comment counts stay in sync when you like a post from another device
- Follow buttons on place cards update immediately after you follow someone from another screen
- Budget "spending by day" chart hints that there's more to swipe on trips longer than a week
- Activity tab empty state sits near the top of the section instead of floating in the middle

### 1.4.4 — 2026-06-23

New in 1.4.4

- Other people's profiles got a redesign with three tabs for their public places, trips, and posts
- The travel map on someone else's profile auto-fits to their pins now, no more pinching to find the dots
- Tap into a public trip from a profile to see the full read-only view — map, places, dates, members
- "Don't remember the exact dates?" lets you log an old memory with just the year or month, no fake exact day required
- Sign out everywhere from Settings then Danger zone, kicks every device off your account in one tap
- Long-press a follower to remove them, Instagram-style. No notification gets sent, no block needed
- Auto-username at signup now handles Turkish letters and other diacritics properly. Cagatay stays Cagatay
- Broken photos in the feed quietly fall off the layout instead of leaving a giant empty box
- Fuzzy dates show as "2018" or "June 2018" everywhere, timeline, map cards, and place detail
- Many small fixes for stability, dark-mode contrast, and security under the hood

Safe travels.

### 1.4.3 — 2026-06-10

New in 1.4.3

- Plan tab now shows a row of "pinned" city chips for each day — your trip's map and plan finally feel linked
- Tap the + on any chip to add an activity in that city with the location pre-filled
- "On this day" memory card on the Trips home — surfaces a place you visited around today's date in a prior year. Swipe through multiple memories from busy days
- Search results actually return cities now — "Heidelberg" finds Heidelberg, not random hotels and addresses with the word
- Smarter searches for airports, train stations, museums, hotels, and restaurants — Mapbox knows what you mean, even in TR/DE/ES
- Activity titles are plain text again — no more accidentally turning "Münih varış" into a place picker
- Trip cards now show the count of distinct cities (matches the trip detail), not raw place rows
- Many backend integrity fixes so deleting an activity actually removes its map pin, and editing a place updates linked activities

Got feedback? Settings then Send Feedback. Every message gets a reply.

Safe travels.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-06-04

New in 1.4.2

- Place page redesigned: cleaner hero with your photos as the canvas, all the meta on one tidy line
- Tap a photo to open it full-screen and swipe left/right between the rest
- Feed posts: tapping anywhere on a post (photo, city, notes) now opens that post — no more inconsistent destinations
- Tap an already-active tab to pop its stack back to the root (iOS convention)
- Trips back arrow always lands on your trips list, no matter where you came from
- Opening the app from a push notification no longer leaves you stranded — back always finds a sensible home

Got feedback? Settings then Send Feedback. Every message gets a reply.

Safe travels.
