## What is Path to Sun?

Path to Sun is an offline interactive novel set in a mythical ancient Egypt where the gods still walk among the sands. You play Kemet, a young scribe from Thebes, whose master has vanished into the desert on the eve of a dream from Anubis. Across seven chapters you travel by ferry and pyramid, by tomb and temple, until you stand upon the celestial barque of Ra himself. Every conversation is a choice, and every choice quietly commits you to one of four powers: the sun of Ra, the scales of Anubis, the storm of Set, or your own mortal will. Between chapters you play a hand crafted ritual tied to the moment. Sort a torn hieroglyphic verse. Catch a sunbeam at high noon. Weigh a feather against the heart of a life. Draw a torchlit path through a serpent filled labyrinth. Reproduce the shadow signs of Anubis. Snatch scrolls from a sandstorm. Match the rhythm of the sun barque under a starlit sky. Your stars in each ritual raise a god's regard for you, and by the end one of five endings closes the door: Companion of Ra, Keeper of the Scales, Lord of Storms, Mortal Hero, or Lost in the Sands. A short first play introduction teaches the game in four gentle cards. All progress is saved locally in three independent journeys, so you can walk the desert more than once and see how the gods answer a different question. The game is completely free, plays fully offline, requires no account, contains no advertising, and never collects any data about you.
