## What is PATHOGENEER?

Pathogeneer is a strategy simulation game about engineering a one-of-a-kind strain, releasing it into the wild, and seeing how far it can spread. Start small. Mutate with purpose. Then watch the cascade come alive across the world map.

Every run is different. Climate, host density, geography, travel routes, resistance, and your own decisions can turn a tiny outbreak into a global phenomenon—or stop it cold.

MUTATE YOUR WAY
Choose connected mutation paths that shape infection, spread, survival, mutation, and host jumping. Build for blistering heat, freezing climates, ocean crossings, quiet persistence, explosive movement, or something wonderfully strange.

JUMP BETWEEN HOSTS
Begin with plants, then unlock insects, birds, land animals, and humans. Each host has distinct targets, routes, strengths, and mutation paths. Carry successful genes into descendants and grow a powerful lineage over repeated runs.

WATCH THE WORLD REACT
Follow visible infection fronts, host-specific spread patterns, route attempts, biome barriers, deaths, recoveries, and major host shifts live on the map. Make a few meaningful choices during the run and change what happens next.

CREATE STRAINS WORTH SHARING
Archive your best creations, evolve inherited genes, chase higher cascade grades, complete daily missions, and collect ridiculous names such as Cranky Sneeze Parade or One-Eyed Romaine.
