This one is great because you can't just do one. The easy ones are easy and the advanced ones will definitely make you think outside the box to make the connections. I paid for the full version and was surprisingly challenged by some of them. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Navigation is easy, which is sometimes a challenge for me with large fingers. Great game! ### 5/5 — Excellent *2011-11-02, version 1.3* A highly recommended and beautifully implemented puzzle game. The interface is very slick and simple to use and drawing the paths with your finger is a fluid process and somehow very fulfilling. There are a huge number of puzzles to play, with a well judged difficulty curve, and your partially completed puzzles are saved for when you next pick up the game. Revealing each puzzle's picture rewards you with an interesting or amusing quote on the picture's subject which is a nice touch. I can't recommend this and the other PathPix games highly enough and this "Lite" version means that you can try before you buy. Great job by the dev team - hopefully the other PC KpixGames from their website will be coming to iPhone too! ### 5/5 — Addicted! Meditative and Colorful *2011-10-28, version 1.3* Just finished the last pic in Zen and came looking for more; thank you for making all of these! Very engrossing especially if you are a visual and/or kinetic thinker. Although there are no time limits or anything chasing you, these are still very challenging puzzles. I have stayed up late many times to solve "just one more"; now I plan not to sleep for a year! ### 4/5 — Good basic fun *2011-08-24, version 1.3* I really like it and plan on getting the full version. My main issue however is that it is easy to accidentally make a mistake when trying to pan around the board. It's like trying to eat one potato chip. :-D ### 4/5 — I can't believe it! *2011-02-02, version 1.2* I only downloaded cause it's free. Don't like "matching" games or counting things. Played for 10 minutes and hated it. I couldn't do it so it must be stupid. My ego wouldn't let me quit until I beat ONE lousy level. Then something clicked and.....the little pic that was revealed when I won was oddly, if mildly satisfying. Sitting up a little straighter & and stifling a yawn I completed level 2.  Feeling smug I zipped thru 3 and by level 6 I was alternately muttering and grinning. THAT is the moment I wait for in a new game. LOVE this little bugger and so will you. I'm off to buy the full version!! . (update 2/2/11) *****See my five star review of the full version. I have the full version and it gets a lot more challenging and highly addicting. Some of the quotes at the end of each puzzle are a good laught some times. Two thumbs up to you Kris pixton! ### 4/5 — Very fun:) *2011-01-22, version 1.2* You can't put it down once you've started!!! ### 5/5 — PathPix Lite *2011-01-02, version 1.2* PathPix Lite is the trial version of the full game, PathPix. PathPix Lite has 9 puzzles--just enough to let you get a feel for the app controls and the game itself. This download is best for someone considering buying PathPix. It's not too appropriate for those of you who just want a free game--there are, as noted, only 9 puzzles. It's a good app, which (in the case of a puzzle app like this) means that it's simple, easy-to-navigate, and glitch-free. You are not forced to go through the tutorial (something I've come to loathe from nonogram games) nor are you subjected to a narrator (found in many puzzle games which are made to appeal to young children). You can simply load up the app and get playing immediately. On that note, it loads quickly on my old 1st gen iPod Touch, which is nice. There is no timer on these puzzles, which some may consider a drawback. Personally, I like it that way, as it makes solving them a more peaceful exercise. After completing a puzzle, you are presented with a quote related to the image. They come from a diversity of sources and add a touch of personality to an otherwise straightforward puzzle app. The app is entirely touch-screen controlled, with adequate results. Since drawing lines, erasing lines, and navigating the puzzle are all done with very similar gestures, it's very easy to accidentally do one of these when you mean to do another. It would be nice to have the option to turn off double-tap erasure and touch-screen navigation. ### 5/5 — Very *2010-11-20, version 0* Enjoyable ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Nag nag nag *2013-01-26, version 1.3* No means no. Stop nagging your users. ### 1/5 — Terrible controls *2011-02-07, version 1.2* (at least on my 4th generation) you have to keep your finger to the grid or the line will not draw. Pfft. Don't waste $2 on 169 hard to navigate puzzles; I found a very similar free app called piczle lines and you get 100 puzzles for free and level packs are very cheap ### 1/5 — Doesn't work or make any sense *2009-11-26, version 0* This game either doesn't work or its instructions are incomplete. Often times when you drag your finger between 2 identical numbers, it doesn't let you complete the path and puts up some random number instead. Even if the path you have chosen is the only correct path, it still doesn't let you complete the path. It just stops you with a random number that makes no sense. This is not explained in the short & incomplete instructions, either.
