## What is Paths?

Paths is a simple app for staying consistent with your goals...with a few friends keeping you accountable along the way.

You create goals (called Paths) and log a quick update each day. Your friends can see how you’re doing and cheer you on. (You’ll see their progress too!)

HOW IT WORKS
• Create a Path for anything you care about. Working out, reading, learning guitar, or anything else you want to stick with.
• Each day, log a quick update. Keep it simple! “1 mile,” “10 pages,” “practiced scales.”
• Share your Paths with friends so they can follow along.
• React to their updates or leave a short message.
• Poke friends who haven’t logged today (as a light reminder!)

DESIGNED TO STAY OUT OF YOUR WAY
• Feels more like a notes app than a social feed.
• No endless scrolling or noise, just your goals and the people you’ve chosen!

PRIVACY FIRST
• You decide who sees each Path
• Friends are invite only (No random suggestions or public profiles!)
• No ads, no tracking, no selling your data

FEATURES
• Entries save automatically
• Dark mode and light mode
• Daily reminders (if you want!)
• Real-time updates show up instantly

It’s free, with no ads. I was already doing this in a shared Notes app, but wanted to build something better!

## Key features

- Create custom goals (Paths)
- Log daily updates
- Share progress with friends
- React to and comment on updates
- Daily reminders
- Privacy controls

### 5/5 — Perfect for keeping accountable with my friends

*2026-05-10*

I love being able to send emojis back and forth with my friends.. or give them a poke if needed

### 5/5 — It’s fun

*2026-05-10*

It’s fun to keep track of my progress with encouragement from my friends.. and to nudge them along the way as well:)

### 5/5 — Exactly What is Missing From App Store Today

*2026-04-27*

I feel like all apps today have become so complicated and cluttered with gamification and freemium features that it’s like learning a new piece of software to get set up on them. Not this one.

This is simple, straightforward, just like the golden days of the App Store when people made things to be truly useful and helpful. Not to gamify you into a $9.99 monthly subscription.

I can attest after having used the app for over a month that it works amazing. Extremely lightweight (no slow loading or anything, very responsive) and no complicated UI to learn.

It's the perfect way to get accountability for any goals you're working on, and support friends or loved ones to their goals. When you recommend a friend / loved one to download, you don't have to worry they're going to need a month to learn how to use it.

Excellent app! 🙌🙌

### 5/5 — Organized time tracking

*2026-04-27*

This app has a really clean interface and intuitive design for time tracking different activities!
