## What is Pathwave?

Pathwave - Walk into a store and join its Wi-Fi with one tap.

Pathwave recognizes partner stores from their Wi-Fi access point signal and your location, and connects you to their Wi-Fi with one tap. No more asking for the password at cafes, restaurants, hotels and tourist spots.

- One-tap Wi-Fi
Get near the store, the app recognizes it, and one confirmation connects you to the store Wi-Fi. Set it up once and it works at every Pathwave partner store.

- Stamps
Show your member QR when you pay and the store scans it to add a stamp. Each store sets its own goal and reward; fill the card and a reward coupon is issued.

- Coupons
Pick up coupons from nearby stores or search, then tap [Use] in My Coupons and show it at the store. Coupons are valid at the store that issued them.

- 1:1 chat with the store (auto-translated)
Write in your language; the store reads it in Korean and their reply comes back in your language. Ask about hours, the menu or a table without worrying about the words.

- Store info in your language
Menu, open/closed status, allergy info and Google reviews on one screen. App UI in 8 languages (Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese Simplified/Traditional/Hong Kong, French, Vietnamese); chat translation in 20+ languages. Starting with partner stores in Iksan and Jeonju, Korea, and expanding.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-18

• Fixed: voice input in chat did not work on iPhone. The app now asks for permission when you tap the microphone, so you can speak right away.
• The microphone button shows the language you are about to speak, before you tap it.
• The language list is shown in each language's own name — 한국어, English, 日本語, 繁體中文, Tiếng Việt, ไทย and more.

• Voice input in chat. Tap the microphone in the message box and speak — your words become text.
• Press and hold the microphone to choose the language you speak. It can differ from your app language, so you can keep the app in English and still speak Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese and more.
• Pauses no longer cut you off. Dictation continues until you stop it.
• Faster store detection — "Search again" now re-checks your current location instead of reusing the last one.

Note: speech is converted to text on your device using the system speech recognizer. No audio is recorded, stored, or sent to our servers. The text goes into the message box only, and you review and edit it before sending.

· Menu boards now open full screen. Tap “Menu board photos” below a store’s menu, then pinch or double-tap to zoom in — even the fine print stays sharp.
· Fixed an issue where menus looked empty when viewed in another language. The original menu now appears right away while the translation is being prepared.
· Store listings now show the type of business, so you can tell a café from a restaurant at a glance. Store names appear in the original language with a pronunciation guide.
· Prices are formatted consistently. Amounts now start with ₩ and the digits line up, so they’re easy to compare.
· Coupons you’ve already claimed can be opened right away — just tap “View coupon.”
· Store Wi-Fi connections are more reliable. Fixed an issue where you couldn’t choose which store to connect to when several share a building, and another where the disconnect button disappeared while you were connected.
· Nearby stores are easier to find. Location detection is more precise, and the store you’re connected to now shows “Connected” instead of a distance.
· Refined the text and buttons on the terms and consent screen so they’re easier to see.

Connecting to store Wi-Fi is much simpler. Tap Connect and the save prompt appears right away, so one confirmation is all it takes. No more hunting for a notification. We also fixed a screen that could get stuck.
