## What is PathwayCLB?

PathwayCLB helps newcomers to Canada turn their language levels into a clear plan for college, university and the skilled trades. Now in English and French.

PathwayCLB is an independent app from ValLeo Labs. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Government of Canada, and it does not provide government services.

If you've taken LINC, CLIC or a PBLA assessment, your report shows a level for each skill: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Enter those four levels and PathwayCLB shows you, in plain language, the post-secondary options you currently meet the language requirements for — and what to improve to reach the next step.

WHAT YOU GET
- Two languages: switch the whole app between English and French anytime.
- English (CLB) and French (NCLC): enter the scale that matches your report.
- Your best-match pathway, from continuing language study up to university and graduate-level programs.
- Skilled trades & technology: apprenticeship, trades and technology programs as another route into a career, often with lower language requirements than a degree.
- Your level converted to approximate IELTS/CELPIP (English) or CEFR with TEF/TCF (French), based on the Government of Canada equivalency chart.
- Your limiting skill (schools check each skill, not the average) and how many levels you need next.
- A directory of real Canadian colleges, universities, polytechnics and trade schools by province and territory, with official links.
- A Word Help glossary explaining common terms (CLB, EAP, ESL, LINC, ECA and more) in plain language.
- Money & funding, credential recognition (ECA), and help reading your report.
- Save schools to compare, read-aloud on any screen, and a larger-text option.

WHO IT IS FOR
Newcomers, permanent residents and refugees in Canada who have a CLB or NCLC level and want to plan their path into Canadian colleges, universities and the skilled trades. The app covers Canada only.
