I’m a big fan of the tummy time timer and widget in particular. However, one small thing… the bar chart showing tummy time by day is displaying incorrect data for me. This app reassured me every step of the way that I was covering all my bases to help my little one develop. It gave me the confidence that I wasn’t forgetting to focus on specific tasks and ideas of how to interact with my baby in age appropriate ways when it’s sometimes hard to come up with new activities on your own. This helped me adjust to his prematurity and help me keep track with his development. Definitely sharing this with other moms so they can keep track of their child’s development. I love that it has a checklist to check off milestones as your child goes. The Pathways app provides activities and articles to help all parents and babies. The American Academy of Pediatrics supports Pathways, so we know that we can trust the tools on this app. My sister is a physical therapist, and it means a lot to our family that the people at Pathways develop resources for parents with input from expert speech-language pathologists and occupational and physical therapists. We have great respect for all of the professionals on the Pathways team. I've deleted it and re-downloaded it multiple times and still nothing ### 2/5 — New update has new bugs *2024-01-02, version 2.6.1* The tummy timer was great but no longer works for manual entries or editing of past entries. In the Beginning it had no app. Always I would go to YouTube or their website to get information. Now we got this free app and I advise all parents to have this app and helps to check milestones and activities for your kids. ### 3/5 — Helped me so much with my son *2023-08-08* I downloaded Pathways as part of a developmental process soon after my son was graduated from the NICU. The app saved me a lot of time researching things on my own. I was happy to get the weekly email digest as well. The tips are timely and informative. I’m a home visitor and I recommend it to all my clients as a way to find simple activities to do throughout the week instead of just the one thing they do with me every week… and the activities with videos and explanations are SUCH a great way to help families understand how easy and simple it is to play with their babies while strengthening connection and development. HOWEVER, while I think the activities/milestone tracking side of the app is fairly well developed, I think it would be really great if there was a bit more time put into the developing the logging daily routines like diapers, feedings, etc. This COULD be such a super helpful feature to families with medically high needs families, parents that are learning parenting skills, parents that are tracking new foods etc, but it’s fairly limited to just diapers, bottles/nursing, tummy time, and infant massage… all great things, but if parents could ALSO track solid foods, naps/sleep, even track mood or growth, add notes to activities about if the child liked it or they should try it again later… These things would be such a benefit to families that have multiple caregivers, work with babysitters or kinship care, parents that are on opposite schedules, new foster parents etc, who are all overwhelmed with having a young child and frankly, I think THOSE features could draw them in to using the app and really help support a family as a whole in more areas than JUST milestones. ### 4/5 — Great app *2024-01-22, version 2.6.2* Great but your last update keeps crashing the app so I can’t use it anymore ### 4/5 — Confusing controls for tracking *2023-09-20, version 2.4.1* It took me a long time to realize the “not started check box” was a drop down and you can track your child's progress by changing to making progress and achieved. Not sure why they picked this control as it isn’t conventional and there is no label to describe what it is.
