• Your results, explained — View your latest eGFR, blood pressure, ACR, and other lab results as soon as they're available, with trend charts so you can see how your kidney health is changing over time
• Know your risk — Your 5-year kidney failure risk score (KFRE) is calculated automatically and updated with every new result
• Your medications — See your current medications and any recent changes, reviewed and updated by your clinician
• My Diagnosis — Understand your KDIGO CKD stage, underlying cause, and other conditions, verified by your specialist
• Secure messaging — Message your clinical team directly, without waiting on hold or leaving a voicemail
• Documents — Access your clinic letters and upload your own documents, including results from other providers
• Health tips — Personalised reminders about medication safety, sick day rules, and staying well with kidney disease

FOR CLINICIANS

Patient Thread includes a full clinical dashboard for nephrology teams. Manage patient records, review and enter results, generate clinic letters, track transplant patients, calculate rejection risk, and communicate securely with your patients — all from one platform.

SECURITY & PRIVACY

Patient Thread is built for healthcare. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Staff access requires multi-factor authentication and sessions time out automatically after inactivity. Patient Thread is operated by Lawrence Medical Ltd in accordance with UK GDPR and NHS data security standards.

Patient Thread is currently available to patients of Herts Kidney Care. If you are a patient of a participating clinic, your care team will provide you with registration details.
