It works just like Uber or other apps, but also has incredibly nice drivers! Specifically our driver Klodian went above and beyond by not only driving us, but along the way telling us the history of Tirana and the buildings we were passing. This app is truly the best kept secret for traveling to Albania and I wish we had a similar app in the US. Thanks again to this app and all its drivers! Now I’m unable to use it and this is only way I get around in Albania. I’m completely disappointed **Developer response:** Hey! Pat ### 1/5 — Free rides” only in ads disastrous experience and unprofessional support *2026-05-26* Very disappointing experience. In my case, the discounts and Tokos rarely worked as expected, and the final taxi prices were often close to normal prices. I also had issues finding available taxis in Elbasan even when taxi companies themselves were available by phone. Support was not very helpful when I reported problems. I hope the service improves because the idea of the app is good. ### 1/5 — CHECK CASH / CARD METHOD *2025-08-24* I downloaded the app because it said you can use card. Booked the taxi and added my card and by that point he said I had accepted cash and forced me to take cash out of a machine which charged me 15%! The app doesn’t help or support you to ensure you add a card first and to pick your payment method. Don’t make the same mistake I did! ### 1/5 — Taxi meter is a scam *2025-06-26* App says taxi meter is better pricing when it will really cost you 25 euros to go 2km. Our typical pricing (when taxi meter is not selected) is flat rate, so should be a better price for what you described. SMS code never turned up. Tried WhatsApp option, also failed. Tried a second phone number, also didn’t receive the code. There are no restrictions around Montenegro, it sounds like you've encountered a technical difficulty. Please send us your information at support@patoko.com and we'll make sure you're able to sign-in and enjoy the application! ### 2/5 — No so reliable *2026-02-12* Limited drivers even in city center. Drivers can cancel the ride and if you schedule a ride there is no guarantee they will get you a ride at the time you scheduled. Drivers cancel all the time and then new ones may just say the will show up later anyways. Payment system is strange and one of my drivers had a different license plate than the app displayed. ### 3/5 — Weird *2026-06-24* In America the drivers are not allowed to consistently keep canceling customers because they don’t want to go to that place or they want more money! That is not allowed.
