## What is PatrolX?

PatrolX is a business-to-business software platform that helps companies in
physical security, logistics, delivery, and related field-operations industries
coordinate their mobile workers and the communities those workers serve.

What PatrolX does
• Gives mobile workers a simple place to post operational updates and incident
  reports from the field, with optional photos.
• Gives the people who rely on those workers a feed of what is happening in
  their area, with the ability to acknowledge, comment, and follow up.
• Gives administrators a web dashboard to on-board workers and customers,
  manage roles, audit activity, and receive a daily summary email.

Who it is for
PatrolX is a closed, invitation-only platform — accounts are created by an
authorised administrator inside the licensee company. It is not a public social
feed and you cannot sign up directly from the app; you will receive an
invitation by email if the company you work with or subscribe to has rolled it
out.

PatrolX does not track your location, does not show ads, does not sell your
data, and does not use you for advertising or analytics profiling. We collect
only the information we need to run the service (your name, email, phone,
address, assigned work area, and the content you post). All data is hosted in

Officer and subscriber updates:

• Subscribers can now press an SOS button from their Profile tab to alert
  a patrol officer who is currently on duty in their suburb. The button
  is only available when your security partner has enabled SOS for your
  suburb, and the alert only sends if at least one officer is on duty
  at that moment. If no officer is on duty, the app will direct you to
  call 000. PatrolX SOS is not an emergency service, for any life-
  threatening situation always call 000.

• Officers can now opt in to GPS-tracked shifts. When you start a shift
  with GPS tracking enabled, the app records your patrol route in the
  background so your security company can review coverage. Tracking
  begins when the shift starts and stops automatically when the shift
  ends.

• Clearer in-app guidance when location permission needs to be adjusted.

Security and reliability improvements from 1.0.2 are retained.
