## What is Patron Saint Connect?

Connect Patron Saint to your Patreon account, then put your phone away.

Patron Saint Connect is the free companion app for Patron Saint on Apple TV. It handles the initial sign-in securely so you can watch and listen from your television without relying on AirPlay or keeping your phone nearby.

QUICK, SIMPLE SETUP

1. Open Patron Saint on Apple TV and choose Connect with iPhone.
2. Open Patron Saint Connect and scan the code shown on your TV.
3. Confirm that the six-digit codes match.
4. Sign in directly on Patreon’s website with your email and password.
5. Once connected, you’re done — your iPhone is no longer needed for playback.

SIGN IN SECURELY

Your Patreon password is entered directly on Patreon’s website. Patron Saint Connect does not receive or store your password.

After you sign in, your account session is end-to-end encrypted and transferred to your Apple TV. When both devices share a Wi-Fi network it goes directly between them; otherwise it passes through Patron Saint’s relay, which cannot read it and does not store it.

BUILT FOR ONE JOB

Patron Saint Connect is designed specifically to connect your Patreon account to Patron Saint on Apple TV.

It does not play membership video or audio itself, and it does not replace the Patreon app or website. Memberships, pledges, billing, messages, and account management remain with Patreon.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Patron Saint installed on Apple TV
• An iPhone with Patron Saint Connect
• An internet connection on both devices during setup
• Camera permission to scan the code on your television
• Local Network permission (optional) to connect directly on your Wi-Fi
• A Patreon account with an email-and-password login

If you normally sign in to Patreon using Google, Apple, or Facebook, you’ll need to add a password to your Patreon account before connecting.

Patron Saint Connect is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Patreon, Inc.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-28

This update makes setting up Patron Saint on your Apple TV easier and more reliable.

• Connect from anywhere. Your iPhone and Apple TV no longer need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. Setup works over any internet connection, and your sign-in stays private and end-to-end encrypted.
• Sign in first if you like. You can sign in to Patreon before connecting your TV, and it's fine to step away to check your email for a confirmation code.
• Know where you stand. The home screen and Settings now show whether your Patreon sign-in is still active, with options to check again or sign out.
• Clearer messages when something needs your attention, plus general reliability improvements.
