Is worth the money. I'll buy anything this guy Kevin does, I wished that he's thinking in a Desktop Version for the Mac. The only suggestion I have is to label the color squares in some way so I can remember which shade of blue I used when I want to go back to that shade of blue from the shade of purple (or green, or whatever color) I'm using now. Please update your app or remove from App Store! ### 4/5 — Almost there *2021-05-22* Great app - a myriad of pattern design formats to choose from. The only issue I have is that the exported PNGs & images are low resolution, and look quite pixelated. Please fix this and I will give a 5 star rating. ### 4/5 — An astonishing app in many ways *2020-01-26* This app must have taken many hours of work to create. It can do things that would be very difficult in other apps. I like what it does very much and hats off to Kevin......however.......if you Kev are reading this.......apart from the rather obscure and fiddly ways of doing some useful things (as you - the user will discover) ...... why, just why cant I save a high resolution image of the single tile? The highest resolution I have found is by taking a screen shot of it. The export option implies it should be possible by choosing the untiled option and an image resolution. But no dice. I’m really hoping I’ve missed something here. Or maybe it was a deliberate way to sabotage the apps usefulness in the real professional world. The ability to save a single tile at reasonable resolution would earn Pattern Artist an effortless five star review. This app feeds the graphics jones quite well: I choose a pattern template and a color palette and spend the next however many spare moments trying to produce designs that look as different as I can make them look. When I feel like I have exhausted the possibilities of that particular template and color combination, I choose another. A bit obsessive, perhaps, but lots of fun if you are a color and pattern addict like I am. Recommended whether or not you want to test your imagination. Steady updates and improvements make this one well worth whatever you pay for it.
