In our fast-paced world we are constantly confronted with split-second decisions and incoming events that tax our already weary minds.

How about an iPhone game that allows quiet contemplation and elicits inner peace? 

Pattern Blocks is a game that lets you drag blocks around to create interesting mandala-like designs. It is based on an actual set of antique blocks that I played with as a child on my grandmother's living room floor. 

You can print your designs, save a snapshot to the photo album on the iPhone or iPod Touch, share them on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, or email them around the world.

You can also flip the current pattern over and display the backside of the current blocks.

You can also load and save designs to the "gallery", allowing you to keep your favorite designs and modify them later.

This is a total junk app.  Has noticed do with quilting and quilt blocks like the name implies.  Don’t waste your dollar.

I really like the antique block function it would be great if you had more to play with and use in other programs such as a collateral Mattick I Kaleidomatic… Also it would be nice if you could do some a periodic tailings like Penrose Roger Penrose tailings or the Islamic variety...filings... Tesselations.....tilings

I remember playing with these blocks also! I have one big suggestion.....create lots of blocks with different colors and patterns! You could even charge .99 for a group of patterns, OR the ability for users to color or create patterns on our own. It would be like making a quilt for those of us who are unable to sew.

Please please can you make this an iPad app?  Also, can you give a few different grids, 3x3, 9x9 etc?  As a bonus... Make more blocks that are double the size.  It would be so perfect for my quilting addiction!  Thanks!
