Consider it your virtual assistant in tracking your blood glucose values over time. In this version of Patterns, you can: · Set upper and lower glucose limits, let’s call it a range. You can set up alerts that notify your loved ones of your location and if you are out of that range, having a low or high. · Take a look at time you spent in range over time. Do you see any patterns (with Patterns)? Look for trends to see if there are small changes you can make to improve your glucose control. · Set reminder notifications to check your glucose. I do wish that the messages I get on this app would have a date and time with them. I’m running 2.8.1 which is the newest version and cannot go any further. I start having issues syncing the data with my phone a few days ago, so I tried resetting the unit, reinstalling the app, and eventually worked, but this morning the app just crashed. Randomly does not connect to tester requiring 10 minutes or more of turning off tester re opening app over and over and over again. It’s very frustrating. Furthermore it doesn’t connect the sugar content right away sometime it doesn’t it’s the worst app ever and I wish I could use another diabetic monitor in order to get another app because this app is the worst of ever used before, it doesn’t do what it says it’s constantly asking me to sign in. I don’t wanna have to sign in with password every single day twice a day. It only works one or two times and you have to set it up again. Shouldn't that be a one. and done? Whats the point if you have to log in manually every third time you open the app, and then go into settings to re activate face recognition? But even worse then that, it will lose a day or two’s readings, and won’t reconnect until you restart your phone. For the importance of the service this app is supposed to be offering, that is just unacceptable. No one at intuity medical (makers of the meter) have been able to resolve the connection issue rendering the app useless. I get nagging reminder to test text messages and the notifications area of the apple does not allow you to turn them off or delete them. So far I am poorly impressed by this meter and software. Poor customer service who have an inflated ego that their product is flawless and incapable of being defective. When told about issues with patterns app they replied “well, you don’t have to use it”. Worst support ever. Week since updates *2023-10-22* It’s a terrible app. I took my blood just fine and it’s not registering on the app on the phone. I checked everything it’s been going on way too long.
