## What is PauPau?

PauPau is a short-video app for the people you invite. Everything you post disappears after 24 hours.

■ Gone in 24 hours
Videos are deleted automatically a day after you post them. Nothing piles up, so there is nothing to overthink.

■ You decide who sees it
Create a room, share the invite code, and only those people can watch. No followers, no recommendation feed, no strangers.

■ 18 seconds, then send
Pick a video from your library, trim it to 18 seconds, and post. No editing to agonize over.

■ Sign in without a password
A passkey (Face ID / Touch ID) is all you need. No password, no phone number, no email address to register.

For sharing the small moments of your day with a handful of people, as something that passes rather than something that stays.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-05

• Fixed a problem that stopped videos recorded in the app from being posted
• Videos now appear at the right size in the feed. Square and 4:3 clips are
  no longer cropped or shrunk
• The trim strip now fills in as soon as you open a video
• You can now choose which part of a clip longer than 18 seconds to keep
• Fixed a crash that could happen when leaving some screens

### 1.4.0 — 2026-09-01

Posting no longer makes you wait.

■ Nothing to wait for
Tap post and you go straight back. The video finishes exporting behind you, and the button at the bottom shows how far along it is.

■ The editor now tells the truth
Stickers and text land where you put them. A decoration pushed against the edge stays against the edge once it's posted.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-29

Fixed a problem where a video with a large sticker on it could fail to post. It affected clips recorded at high resolution.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-08-25

You can now put stamps on your videos, for the crowded, decorated look of an old photo booth print.

■ Dress up your text
Seven typefaces, plus white outline, dark outline, gradient and neon. Frames, line spacing and alignment too.

■ Stamp with emoji
Any emoji becomes a sticker. Drag, pinch and rotate it into place.

■ Keep the date
The day you filmed it, in five arrangements. Pair it with a frame and it sits in the corner like a date stamp on a print.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-22

You can now add text to your videos.

• Drop text straight onto a clip you just shot or picked from your album
• Drag to move it, pinch with two fingers to resize and rotate
• Set the size with the slider and pick from ten colors
• Tap any text to edit it again, or drag it to the trash to remove it

We also fixed a rare crash when switching cameras, and colors in exported videos now match what you saw in the preview.
