### 2/5 — Love the product just not the app.

*2026-08-27, version 2.5.16*

The watch and the idea of it is great, but the app could really use some work. While you are getting shocked and wanting to get it stopped it will take the app 30 seconds to load. I’ve hoped it would get fixed pretty quickly but I’ve had it for almost a year and I don’t think it has done any better yet.

### 4/5 — Could use some work

*2026-08-26, version 2.5.16*

I play football and wake up everyday at 4am. i tried several different alternative alarms and this one stuck with me. I have the shock clock 3 and it works great but the app is a different story. The app doesn’t have a lot of features is very laggy and i would like to see improvements to sleep tracking when i spend $100 on the shock clock. all around a good product but the app can use some more features and options for waking up

### 2/5 — Watch works but app extremely buggy

*2026-08-25, version 2.5.16*

Have to re-pair the app and watch nearly every night. App is slow and freezes often. Alarms randomly duplicate themselves. Lots of bugs. The watch works great, app does not

### 5/5 — A huge lifesaver

*2026-08-21, version 2.5.16*

I use this app to help treat my narcolepsy. I have to take medication in the middle of the night every night, and this watch is the only thing that reliably wakes me up. Better yet, it can wake me up silently so as not to bother other people sleeping near me. I love it!! I recommend it to anyone who has a hard time waking up.

### 2/5 — Alarm sync is trash

*2026-08-21, version 2.5.16*

I rely on this wearable to manage my sleep. Not being able to change the alarms as needed and not being able to even stop alarms due to not being able to connect to the device from the app makes this a waste of money. I’m not the only one read the reviews.

### 5/5 — I’ve tried everything

*2026-08-21, version 2.5.16*

The only alarm clock that works for me

### 2/5 — Unimpressed with App

*2026-08-21, version 2.5.16*

The app feels like it was just created. It’s buggy, not very user family, and the functions are very limited without a subscription. The habits thing only has a few free choices, it’s just very limited unnecessarily. For it to be around for so long, it makes no sense that the app isn’t better.

### 5/5 — The only thing that wakes me up!

*2026-08-20, version 2.5.16*

Other than people and a potty break, the pain from this is the only way I wake up. And as someone who’s slept through every alarm I’ve ever tried, it’s honestly worth it!

### 5/5 — Simple, easy, and convenient

*2026-08-19, version 2.5.16*

I like this app a lot works well with the watch, I enjoy setting alarms on it zero issues at all.

### 3/5 — Awesome for heavy sleepers, too bad they don’t offer replacements every time the watch stops working

*2026-08-19, version 2.5.16*

I’ve been using pavloks shock watches for years. 19 bucks a Month isn’t bad, but they stop sending replacement watches when yours stops working so you have to buy a new one.

### 5/5 — Eric

*2026-08-18, version 2.5.16*

Excellent

### 5/5 — Works great.

*2026-08-18, version 2.5.16*

I’m an extremely heavy sleeper. Always oversleeping and hitting the snooze. Hasn’t happed once since I got the shock clock 3. Definitely worth it.

### 5/5 — Jjj

### 5/5 — Best Ever!

*2026-08-15, version 2.5.15*

I have a sleep disorder where I have to set an alarm to wake up in the middle of the night to take medication. I’ve tried all sorts of alarms that either end up waking my husband or I sleep right thru them. THIS is magical! Since I’ve been using this, I have not missed my nightly dose and it does not disturb my husband.

### 1/5 — Wish there was another option

*2026-08-28, version 2.5.17*

It works but has had updates and pointless requirements and changes. (Eg the pavlock 2 app used to work great and then they sent an update that literally bricked the app). It’s turned into a sales platform and all I want it to be is a place to set my alarm on the watch. You can’t even delete old alarms from the prior watches that have broken overtime, which happens quite often.

UPDATE: Forced app update!??? You literally erased the functionality of the app and forced an update? This is the stupidest app I’ve ever used.

### 1/5 — Pavlock three and shock clock

*2026-08-24, version 2.5.16*

It’s been making up its own alarms you know I turned it off

### 1/5 — HORRIBLE

*2026-08-20, version 2.5.16*

If you’re looking to be both tired, and absolutely irate, look no further…

The app functionality is beyond terrible and apparently they have zero intention of addressing this.

I have been struggling to use this watch and app for the past 2 years..
CONSTANTLY needs “support” to forget Bluetooth device, uninstalling app, and hard reset on watch while plugged in and directly next to my phone. Maybe the watch will work for a day or two following this. But don’t worry! The most consistent feature you can reliably count on is that you frequently won’t be able to turn off your electrocuting alarm (with escalating intensity feature active).

Today’s issue however was a brand new one, so that’s exciting I guess.

After deleting the app and redownloading AGAIN. Now I just can’t log into my account at all. Same email. Reset my password 3 times.
My log-in is clearly not the problem, and now after all that…. This is literally keeping me up at night just working through basic use issues to access the app and make sure my alarm is actually set. Will I wake up tomorrow and not be late to work? I guess we just don’t know.

This could have been such a helpful device but due to a horrible design model and execution of the app.

- Irate and exhausted

### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY

*2026-08-20, version 2.5.16*

Pavlok is truly the worst piece of technology built in this century. The Bluetooth pairing is terrible, it only works like half the time. And sometimes the Bluetooth won’t pair so I can’t turn off my alarm and it just shocks me over and over. I have never been more frustrated with a piece of tech in my life and I pray everyone sees this so they know not to waste their money on this truly terrible watch

### 1/5 — Good Idea Bad Execution

*2026-08-19, version 2.5.16*

Bad app, the watch itself never stops going off. Annoying ads too.

### 1/5 — probably suing

*2026-08-16, version 2.5.16*

Imagine waking up getting electrocuted and you can’t make it stop because the app is laggy, It’s truly terrible and unusable I have a iPhone 17 Pro, it’s not my phone, they make you think it can do all this other stuff too which isn’t even true at all, the app is trying to do way to much like dude, me and everyone else who have bought and downloaded your awful product are just trying to wake up on time.
Truly Garbage, find something else.

### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY

### 1/5 — Does hold up

*2026-08-07, version 2.5.15*

I bought the pavlock max not even a year ago and now it no longer holds a charge i take it off the charger and the watch dies and this is my second watch the first one didn’t work out of the box i had to warranty it

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2026-08-02, version 2.5.15*

For an app that controls a device that shocks a user you think it would be more stable. The device disconnects from the app constantly so trying to scan the QR code as a “wake up guarantee” could leave you being shocked over and over again. Not to mention the app UI- so many places they have overflow of content and weird wrapping. Just look at the stop watch timer. I’ve never left a bad review of an app in the App Store but since this device was almost $200 you think they’d make the app great. I’m not asking for a perfect app but at least work out these bugs.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great bracelet

*2026-08-28, version 2.5.17*

I got this mainly for the alarm as I am extremely hard to wake up and have tried everything to do so with failed attempts. But this has worked remarkably well. Love the way it tracks my sleep as well I haven’t even explored all the features yet. I definitely recommend getting it. I have recommended it to all my friends.

### 5/5 — Best alarm ever!!!

*2026-08-28, version 2.5.17*

I’ve always had a hard time waking up for years I’ve searched for every alarm tried every alarm and then I knew someone had to make an eclectic shock alarm and low and behold I came across this company and let me tell you after a week I’ve not slept in or over slept! Thank you!!! The 5 min monitoring truly works too!!!

### 5/5 — I always oversleep

*2026-08-28, version 2.5.17*

I always over sleep and this helped for a while until it didn’t wake me up anymore and would wake up with burn marks from oversleeping. 10/10 product. Gonna turn the power up

### 5/5 — Love the watch hate the app

*2026-08-28, version 2.5.17*

Love Pavlok. Only. Only critique is the app being weird and laggy. Other than that been only thing to wake me up ! THX FOR THE UPDATE 8/27/26

### 5/5 — Beneficial

*2026-08-27, version 2.5.17*

Excellent product, is much more efficient at waking me up for early morning shifts than any other traditional alarm clock.

### 5/5 — 10/10

*2026-08-26, version 2.5.16*

Top tier company and products

### 5/5 — Works

*2026-08-25, version 2.5.16*

What can i say. It works as advertised. It only takes one time being shocked before you learn to wake up with the beep and vibrate. If you do get a shock, trust me it wakes you up. I am not a morning person. No matter how much sleep i get im still hard to wake up. I’m the guy that sets five alarms to make sure i wake up. This is the only one you need.

### 5/5 — Just works

*2026-08-24, version 2.5.16*

I used to sleep through everything 30x alarms, dogs barking, even my house once being on fire. I can now get up when I want and have much more control over my life. This tool has truly helped me build discipline.

### 5/5 — Wakes me up

*2026-08-21, version 2.5.16*

I’m not a morning person so having this helps me wake up for work everyday!

### 5/5 — Works

*2026-08-21, version 2.5.16*

Its a pain trying to do the jumping jack as I had to to do double for it to count but other than that its awesome
