## What is Paw Cool Check?

Wondering what room temperature is right for your dog today?

Paw Cool Check combines local temperature and humidity with your dog's breed and age to show a recommended air conditioner setting and five-level heatstroke risk guideline.

Dogs respond to heat differently. The app adjusts its recommendation for traits including brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, double coats, breeds originating in cold climates, large breeds, puppies, and senior dogs. Choose from 49 breeds or enter a mixed breed.

The displayed settings and risk levels are guidelines, and individual dogs vary. The best setting can change with the home environment and your dog's condition. If you notice concerning symptoms, consult a veterinarian.

Location data is sent to Apple only to fetch weather. The last location and dog profiles are stored on your device. KiesS Works does not receive or store them on its servers.
