WOULE GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD ### 1/5 — Allows Scammers to Post Your Pet *2026-01-19, version 5.7.0* I posted my pet on the PawBoost platform. A few days later, someone else posted my pet without my permission. I emailed the poster, reported the post as inappropriate, and contacted PawBoost support. They responded by taking MY post down and refused to take the scammers post down. Now in the middle of searching for my pet, a scammers post is the only one up and the only person to contact. Even after I was the original poster, they are now asking ME for ownership documentation and won’t put my post back up. They want me to make another post, which will confuse people because there is an earlier post by the scammer. DO NOT USE! They do not have an effective way of dealing with people trying to take your pets. ### 1/5 — Can you please make the prices lower for the missing pet facebook post pleaseeeeeeee? *2026-01-17, version 5.7.0* I love this app but I don't have enough for the missing pet Facebook post so please make the prices lower for those... ### 1/5 — had high hopes *2025-12-26, version 5.7.0* we lost our dog and everyone was recommending this app. i seen it had almost 5 stars so i was hopeful. i put her on here and then TWO separate people contacted me saying they found her when they didn’t and tried to scam me out of money to get her back when they didn’t have her. so be weary of who tells you they have your pet from this app. i’m aware it says that people be scamming but looking at old reviews this has been an issue for years. there’s definitely something the developers can do to help reduce this. but they won’t. ### 1/5 — Greedy *2025-07-05, version 5.7.0* This app doesn’t help at all in finding your pet unless you pay the minimum of 42 dollars very greedy doesn’t do anything except send out a one time alert ### 1/5 — Beware *2025-05-09, version 5.7.0* Was almost immediately contacted by a scammer after this post of my lost cat. They claimed he was hit by a car and that they were with the humane society and needed payment for after hour surgery. The first call was even from a “police officer” trying to “verify my identity.” ### 1/5 — Scammer Magnet *2024-12-06, version 5.7.0* Ok, the app does warn you about entering your phone number into the system. I did get scammers reach out. Then more, then more again, some of them clever enough to get me to believe for a second that they did find my cat (he was actually hiding under the shed near my house the whole month 🤦‍♂️). However, as far as I could tell, there was no way whatsoever to report scammers that were actually responding to PawBoost posts! I’m baffled. Do something, anything, to fight this! If I’ve gotten so many, then I can only imagine an elderly person falling for a scam because they miss their pet so much. Having a waiver warning isn’t enough. ### 1/5 — Beware! *2022-08-06, version 5.2.1* If you sign up to this app they WILL bombard you with spam emails. I received about 15 of them in the first 24 hours and only about 5 were relevant to the dog I had found. Hitting unsubscribe and unsubscribing in the profile section does nothing to stop them. I had to change my email address on file to a made up one to (hopefully) get them to stop. ### 1/5 — Not working since last update *2022-06-27, version 5.1.1* This App has not worked since the last update. It has a half moon shaped overlay that hides most of the pet and you can’t get the information of the lost or found pets.
