So, you have 0 scan (not even 2 for days or something like that). I got zero scans, I scanned for the first time and immediately got the message for subscribe to the premium, it's not a false information or a bad review "just because". I have no interest in giving bad reviews at random apps . ### 1/5 — Claim to care for pets *2025-04-19, version 1.2.3* They claim to care for pets but only give you 2 scans a day. The barcode scanning feature is super quick, and the nutritional breakdown helps me ensure my cat gets the healthiest food possible. I also love the easy scoring system and the ability to save my favorite pet food brands. This app is perfect if you’re looking for a pet food analyzer or a way to compare cat and dog food ingredients. It’s completely free, which is amazing! I do wish the subscription wasn’t so much because the feature sound amazing! but besides that i’m really loving the fact that i can have the knowledge of what is good and potentially harmful to my animals in my hand and don’t have to do a ton of extensive research! ### 3/5 — app is really good for what it does but… *2025-04-30, version 1.2.4* the app is really good and it’s extremely comparable to human version - Yuka. the only thing that’s lame about pawdi is they make you pay for scans. you only get two a day. so if you want to go on a scanning spree you’ll have to get the monthly subscription. the one time donation is kind of a scam bc they say you get more scans accordingly but spending $5 didn’t even get me more scans so it basically forces you into the monthly subscription or there’s a yearly option but it’s kind of ridiculous to have to pay this much just to get a rating on the item. if it were more like yuka where you can scan unlimited but get full app access with the subscription OR a one time donation for the yearly which is a great deal from yuka. I know this isn’t the same app but it’s clearly the same idea but they’re taking advantage of the consumers. so that’s why I gave it 3/5 ### 3/5 — Good Idea *2025-01-28* ive been scanning some of my cats treats and food. im just not sure this app is what its trying to be. i scanned calming bites and it told me it was a poor option because it didnt have as much fat and protein as food usually does. Just dont really think thats a valid concern when its treats, non the less calming ones. I want to know if my products have dangerous or unhealthy chemicals. not to mention ive also tried scanning products from fancy feast and somehow that isnt in the database.
