## What is PawDose Pets?

PawDose Pets is the calm, reliable medication tracker for chronically ill pets — designed for the realities of insulin twice a day, anticonvulsants on a strict schedule, and the unavoidable fact that a missed dose can mean a seizure or an ER visit.

Built for households, not solo owners.

• Household sharing — Invite your partner or family member with a one-time link or QR code. Pets, medications, schedules, and dose history sync end-to-end through your private iCloud. When one of you marks a dose given, the other sees it instantly.

• Double-dose prevention — Within a dose's grace window, PawDose Pets checks shared history before logging. If your partner already gave the morning insulin, you see a warning before you can log it again.

• Lock Screen, one tap — When a dose is due, a Live Activity appears on the Lock Screen with a 'Mark given' button. No app launch, no unlocking, no friction. The dose is attributed to the correct slot automatically.

• Slot-aware schedules — Schedule a medication for a specific time of day, every N hours, or as-needed. PawDose Pets understands half-open windows and handles cross-midnight slots correctly, so an 11pm insulin dose still attributes to the right slot when you log it at 12:05am.

• Built-in catalogs — Pick from 22 curated medications (insulin, anticonvulsants, antibiotics, pain, heart, kidney, GI, dermatology, supplements) and 83 curated breeds across 9 species. Or type your own — custom names pass through unchanged.

• Reminders that survive — Local notifications with a nag follow-up if the dose stays unlogged. Snooze, mark given, or open the app — all from the banner.

• Privacy by design — No account. No analytics. No tracking SDKs. No server in the loop. Your pets' data lives on your device and in your private iCloud, period.
