## What is Paws?

Paws replaces your home screen with a plain text list of apps. No icons. No color. No distraction. Just names.

Free apps open instantly. Restricted apps make you wait through a countdown, then enter a PIN before opening.

The friction is the feature — when opening Instagram means waiting 30 seconds and typing a PIN, you start asking whether you actually want to.

HOW IT WORKS:
Add any app to your list and mark it as free or restricted. A WidgetKit widget fills your home screen with plain monospaced text. Tap a free app and it opens immediately. Tap a restricted app and Paws starts a countdown (5–300 seconds, you choose). After the countdown, enter your PIN to proceed.

SETUP
Paws walks you through a complete setup: enable grayscale, set a pure black wallpaper, configure Focus Mode to hide all other home screen pages, add the Paws widget, and set your PIN. Follow all steps for full effect.

PRIVACY
No accounts. No analytics. No ads. No network requests of any kind. Everything stays on your device. Your PIN is stored in the iOS Keychain and never leaves.
