## What is Pawsee?

Pawsee is the puppy playdate app, told from your pup's point of view. It helps you arrange playdates, meet trusted local dog owners, and grow a real dog community — all while putting your pup first.

From the moment you create their profile, your puppy is at the center. Browse nearby pups ready to play, send a Wag Signal when yours is in the mood, plan open playdates at public dog-friendly spots, and watch a posse form one walk at a time.

FEATURES
- Puppy and owner profiles with photo verification for both
- Wag Signals so your pup can broadcast they're ready to play right now
- Open playdates at public, dog-friendly locations with host approval for joiners
- Sniffle, our in-app matching feature that helps compatible puppies find each other
- Privacy-aware location controls so exact spots stay hidden until the host approves
- Vaccination self-verification with document upload, visible on the profile
- Bloat / GDV and heat-risk safety prompts that fire automatically based on breed, weather, and play intensity
- Emergency vet references right in the app
- Report and block controls
- Full in-app account deletion from Settings

PAWSEE PLUS AND PAWSEE ELITE
Pawsee offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple.

Pawsee Plus unlocks direct messaging, expanded Sniffle reach, private and favorites-only playdates, and the ability to see who liked your pup.

Pawsee Elite includes everything in Pawsee Plus, expands Sniffle reach further, and increases daily Sniffle likes.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings.

SAFETY FIRST
Pawsee is built for puppy owners who want playdates coordinated thoughtfully. Exact private addresses are never exposed without host approval, vaccination signals stay visible on profiles, and weather- and breed-aware warnings appear before risky outdoor playdates so the high-energy stuff happens with the right context.

Posse Up. Your pup's pack is waiting.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.16 — 2026-09-03

Sniffle works again. It had been failing to load your daily like count, and that one failure was taking the whole deck down with it, so you got an error instead of pups. Fixed on our side, and the deck no longer waits on the counter to show up.

Your Sniffle summary loads instead of spinning forever.

Conversations stay put. The messages are the point, so they appear even if something small beside them fails to load.

On Plus or Elite, your message limit comes from your actual plan. A slow connection can no longer make a paid chat look full or grey out Send.

Your posse list holds steady. Trouble loading pending requests will not blank out the friends you already have.

When something does go wrong, you get a plain explanation and a Retry button.

### 1.1.15 — 2026-08-28

Playdates moved into the tab bar. It's the thing you open Pawsee to do, so it's now one tap from anywhere instead of buried behind a card.

The leaderboard counts what you actually did. Points come from playdates that have already happened — a weekly series counts once, not once a week, and nothing scores before it takes place. Photos and vax records are badges beside your pup's name now instead of points, so the top of the board is about showing up.

Messages arrive as they're sent, without pulling to refresh.

Passes in Sniffle stop being permanent. Skip a pup and they can come back around in a couple of months — one stray thumb no longer removes someone from your deck forever.

Quiet screens now give you something to do. Instead of a lone Refresh button, you can open a playdate or bring a friend along.

Setting up your pup is steadier: your progress is saved as you go, so closing the app mid-way doesn't start you over.

### 1.1.14 — 2026-08-11

Pawsee is straight with you about your own neighborhood now.

Put in your ZIP and you'll find out what's actually there before you build a profile around it. If your area is still quiet, Pawsee says so up front instead of letting you discover it after you've done the work — and you can ask us to bring Pawsee to you, so we know where to grow next.

Mistyped your ZIP? You'll know right away, instead of wondering why the wrong part of town keeps showing up.

### 1.1.13 — 2026-08-11

Playdates that come back every week.

Hosting a regular meet-up? Turn on "Every week" when you create a playdate and Pawsee keeps posting it, so the pups who missed this Saturday can find the next one. End the series any time.

Meet the pups before you sign up.

Open Pawsee and you'll now see real dogs from real neighborhoods right on the welcome screen. No account needed to take a look around first.

We also fixed setup. Adding your pup now comes right after your name and ZIP, because your pup's profile is what unlocks WAG NOW, Open Playdates and Sniffle. Photos can wait until you're ready.

Home feels alive again. Pack Pulse always shows what's happening across Pawsee, and open playdates near you no longer disappear from Home on a quiet day — you can post the first one right from there.

Messages got tidier. Your conversations now sort by the most recent activity, and each one previews the newest message instead of an older one.

### 1.1.11 — 2026-07-31

Password recovery, safer Wag Nows, and a long list of fixes.

• Locked out? Reset it yourself — a "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in screen emails you a reset that opens right back in Pawsee.
• Heat safety on every Wag Now — the heat-stroke check now runs on your current location, not just saved spots, for the host and for anyone joining.
• Playdate changes reach everyone — update the place, capacity, or notes and everyone who joined hears about it, not just when the time changes.
• Smoother sign-up and setup — a clear message when an account already exists, no half-finished profiles getting stuck, and a working shortcut to Settings if photo access was turned down.
• Sharper playdate details — custom dates land on the right day, capacity and approval controls switch off when they can't be used, and a double-tap can't create two of anything.
• Fewer confusing errors when joining playdates, sending posse requests, and starting chats.
• More reliable purchases and restores.
